8:40 PM Just got a call from this company.  Rude to call this late...actually rude to call at all.  I called the 212-260-0070 number. The guy was nice.  Asked what state I was in and my phone number. Said he would take me off the list.  Also said,  "sorry about the call".  Hopefully this is the end of this caller.

I have been on the do-not-call list for years and it is not worth the time i took to write this response. i got me a 1500 number call block from ebay, so far have blocked 49 numbers, best thing since sex...

Well peedoff, the DNC works as it was intended too. And it can't stop those that break laws deliberately, nor will it stop scammers, frauds and extortionists from calling you either. This isn't CSI on tv and these people do not get caught every time a phone call complaint is made, some of them actually being in foreign country's. The DNC complaints are a database for all agency's to use also.

Criminals are not going to obey laws, you couldn't write one short of death penalty to make a criminal stop breaking laws. I'm glad you invested in a call blocker to actually help yourself.I actually highly recommend folks to get one!  But the question is, do you report the calls properly? Do you realize that charity, some survey's and political are exempt and that it does not apply to debt collections that have their own set of rules they have to abide by?

Called the 212 number suggested and requested removal of my home number.  They said they'd do so.  Immediately(couple of minutes) another call was received--NO ONE answeered--so they received a blast of a "canned" air horn we use for these persistent [***]!!!!

log the dates and times called they will try to use this info to have these sites shut down

This was an unwanted and unsolicited phone call. I have an unlisted number and I am on the Do Not Call List....they folks just laugh at you and ask what 'are you going to do about it?'

I do hope that the calls will stop but only time will tell.

I just came to this site researching this unknown number.... read the other comments and called the number given here... man who answered the call said they would remove my number.  Easy process....I hope.

I am calling the FBI and see if this crap can be stopped.I figure if you have to call some number to get it stopped then it must be a gimmick!

After several daily robo calls this week - 5 tonight! - I read your advice. Called Central Research at the 212 number. Friendly &  apologetic individual said my number would be removed. We shall see. Thanks.

212-260-0070. I caledl and ask them to remove my number from their phone list. The people I spoke to were very friendly. I hope it works! in any case, thank you!



Call Type: Survey

Just got a call from the offending number & then moved their number to my "blocked" numbers file. Political surveys (along with realtor cold calls, police donations, & a few more exceptions) are not bound by the National Do-Not-Call requirements. Thank your congressman/congresswoman for watering that bill down.

Same as everyone else!!!! Call and no answer or message.

I don't answer callers I don't recognize. They didn't leave a message.
