The caller asked to speak with my wife, when I said she was not available and asked who they were, they disconnected the call. Then, I found them listed here.

Received call from this number 1-646-502-9187, New York, NY.  Call came in March 26th 9:29am.    Did not answer as because CID did not identify who was calling and we get lots of scam calls, have even had them use my own home number.   They did not leave a message so pretty sure it was a scammer.

Of course I didn't pickup on these sleazebags. Until these [***] are vigorously prosecuted (and sanctions on those countries that freely allow them to operate, this will continue.

CID said Unknown Name, as do many other unwanted calls. From the posts here, I see it's another telemarketer. If they were legitimate, they wouldn't block the company's name.

Just called my home phone.left no message.

The phone company already charges a fee - your phone bill - emphases on the word "your".  You already pay. The phone company should pay us to allow them to help these butt-heads call us.

Caller ID "New York, NY" ... Mar 26 at 2:47pm Eastern time. This call ended after one ring. It may have been blocked by a free service I subscribe to which is available to most Internet-based VoIP phone service users(I have Time Warner). Google "No more robocalls" to get more information.

I see from my logs that this number tried to get through to me.  I have a "white list" system that lets callers through who are on my contact list, but forces all others to state their name and press #.  I read the log, check the number at 800notes, and add it to my contact list if it's a friend.

So, none of these telemarketers have even made my phone ring once since I installed my VoIP system a few weeks ago.  Not once!  I'm so happy!  I was getting 4-5 calls a day.

If you call the number back you get prompted to have your name REMOVED from the call back list !

Those that return calls to the BACKBRACE SCAMMERS, to have their number removed from the calling 'list', will soon find an increased volume of calls from these lowlifes!

646-502-9187 = caller ID = New York NY = keeps calling, never leaves a message, never leaves a callback number, and if you answer: would NOT ID their company, would NOT ID their name = wanted personal info to send "free"  back brace available under Obamacare....ugh...it's not free, I don't need one, never called them first...they claimed this was a callback...NO it was NOT...

Call from 208-964-1191 caller ID says New York NY!

Since we've been bombarded lately with calls from Jamaica, EBS, Inc. and a multitude of Unknown Name calls I'm trying to report every one I get.  This was the first one today.  Over the last 4 days we've had 23 of these calls.  We don't answer and we've turned off our answering machine as well as turned down our ringer so it's a little less annoying, but this is just not something I wish to spend my time on!

Did not answer, no message.

Just got a call.  Caller ID said New York.  Did not answer.

Please read the lengthy, helpful post above.  Scammers do not care one bit about the DNC list, and when you respond by asking them to take you off their list, all that does is confirm that yours is a working #, guaranteeing that you will receive even more scam calls.  Block, or do not answer!

I have a Panasonic that allows me to block complete phone numbers and part of an number e.g. area code, 000, area code with a prefix.  It's great.

Telemarketer called my Texas residence 9:57 am Saturday March 27 but I did not answer and they hung up without leaving voicemail.
