A Marketing Resource Update.
AMR Claims on their website to be "Innovators in Do-Not-Call solutions."
It appears that these web pages show their "innovation" to be blatant law breaking, regarding "Do-Not-Call lists.
They are located in South St. Paul Minnesota. Here is a link to the So. St. Paul police department. If they get enough calls regarding AMR, perhaps something will change...Like law ENFORCEMENT!

Anyone can google AMR phone numbers to find multiple sites like this one with hundreds of reports of abuse by AMR. Some of their phone numbers are:
651-255-5855 & 5859, 651-451-7410 & 1765, 651-288-2873, 2874 & 2875, 651-256-6101, 6170 & 6181.
The BBB has their fax listed as 651-330-9284, "with an outstanding business record". Google these numbers BBB!!!!

How do you get these people to stop calling? They called a couple weeks ago to see if I wanted to get the Seattle Times everyday, I said no, call ended. Now they are calling again!!! WTF!?!?!

They called 5 times in the last 3 days and did not leave a message.  It is extremely annoying.  I called back and it is "A Marketing Rescource, I left a message for them to stop calling!

Hang-up.  Won't talk to machines.

After reading these comments my guess is the Arizona Republic sicced them on us after I yelled at their telemarketers and said we would never, ever subscribe.

I get a call from this number at least once a day on my cell. No message left. So annoying.

They call me every day on my cell phone and hang up. I get the same as above when I call back. I too am on the DNC list and have left several messages on their recorder to no avail.

We have never given out our home number! We give our cell #'s for everything. Same time I started getting calls from this number also started getting them from 952-852-6698. Both are minnesota numbers. I live in WI. Where are they getting this numbers? Can't be random dialing if they know your name and keep calling back!!!

I also keep on receiving these calls. I answered and the representative was trying to re-sell the AZ Republic Newspaper to me (a local newspaper that I used to have). I declined their offer and asked to be removed from their calling list. The representative said ok. We'll see if they really do, otherwise I will report them to the Federal Trade Commission and the Better Business Bureau.

This is exacty what is going on.

Calls twice every evening.  Caller ID indicates "Local News"

I just receieved a call from the same number and I live in Arizona.  I have never been to the St Paul area. I don't know why a local marketer would have gotten my info!

Calls every day and never leaves a msg. Like some here, it says local news. The big giveaway is that we're in AZ and it's an out of state area code. Stupid people. I hope the newspapers aren't paying them by the call, cause they're getting taken. I also did not renew my newspaper.

It was the Arizona Republic calling me... probably because I cancelled my subscription.

I've been getting the calls for about 3 weeks. Newspaper sounds correct as I just canceled mine.

Just cancelled my subscription with them too - guess that's who is calling me...
