These men have called me no less than 10 x in the last two  weeks to tell me they are calling on behalf of Microsoft to advise me that my Microsoft Windows computer has been infected by malwear and could I please go to the computer immediately and they would help me fix it....LOL.
I too,  just bought new computers at Best Buy..
Hmmm.
Anyway.  Hang up on them each time.  Now I'm not answering.

We got 2 calls last night from Twin Cities 651-698-4075. The first one was just before midnight and the second one was 2:09 AM. It was a man with what sounded like a fake Indian accent saying he was with Microsoft and he was calling about our computers at home. I hung up on him before I found out exactly what he wanted.

That hallucinating drunk skunk called again. I apologize for calling him that but the truth often hurts. He is not from Microsoft. He is a fake who will say anything to get into your computer. Do not give him access. He has no good intentions. I have tested him and almost allowed him access to see if he would prove himself. He is upto no good. That's the final conclusion I have drawn. I do have some complaints with my computer but I have found real experts who will do the job. Not him. He needs to get a reality check and find a different mode of livelihood.

Oh my goodness. I don't understand how these jerks are allowed to continue this scam.
They used to call from an "all-zeroes" number, now they're calling from all over the country- amazing that they all sound like they're in the same Phillipine/Indian call center??? (Speaking as an employee of a company that both has centers there, and competes with other companies there, I can all but guarantee that's their location.)
I've taken to playing dumb at first, letting them get into spiel, then asking "oh no, I have three computers, all with different windows operating systems, all with different applications, WHICH OF MY COMPUTERS ARE YOU CALLING ABOUT??" Their response is "well they're all using the same internet connection, right?" "Yes, of course they are, but you SAID you're calling from Windows. That's microsoft. They're not an internet provider, they're the manufacturer of my operating system. So if you're employed by Microsoft, then you're calling about my operating system- so WHAT COMPUTER ARE YOU CALLING ABOUT???" This invariably causes them to hang up on me by this point.
Tonight however, at 1120 pm, these morons called me from an area code that actually corresponds to family out of state. SO, after waking up a few people to make sure everyone was ok, now I find it's these people? Oh yes, AG needs to get this under control- FED UP.

Didn't pick up. No message.

Nothing left to say. I care about my fellow humans. I do not wish them any harm, just quit calling me.

I am continuously getting phone calls from this number:   651-698-4075.  I have repeatedly told them not to call back and also that the police are on the other line.  They are a bunch of smart a--es.  They say my computer is infected and don't say what company other than Windows.  I don't want to only post this in a blog....I WOULD LIKE SOMETHING DONE ABOUT IT!!!

I live in Arizona and I received the latest call at 1:42 this morning.  I always hang up on them.  

Called me at 3:47am saying the same BS being from microsoft.

Got 2 calls from this number in the middle of the night on July 1, 2014, which I did not answer. According to my caller id these calls originated from the TwinCities in MN. When I tried to call back I reached a recording that said this number is not in service.

They called me at 10:45 PM last night woke me out of a dead sleep. I tried calling them back thinking it was an emergency and it said number was out of order. I am so very angry.

A fraud call at midnight???? I don't answer any unknown phone number. I look them up. My PC isn't even on.

Called me 2 nights/mornings in a row.  First time at 4:57 am second time at 2:25 am.  Just love it when they wake me up in the middle of the night!  Caller ID says Twin Cities MN.

I have received a call from them twice this evening- 11:15 and 11:45 p.m. The first time I let it go to voice mail and no message was left.  The second time, I answered and they did not respond.  I hope they do not continue to call all night!!

Just got a call from this number at 9:06pm here in Las Vegas.  I did not answer, figured if it was legitimate business they would leave a message.  No message was left.

Random calls. They expect me to pick up ? that will never happen.

I just answer and say "sheriff's dept". Ends it right there every time.

I've gotten the same call several times.  I just tell them I don't own a computer.  One person hung up and another was silent so long that I hung up.

Daym!  they are still at it..... 20 calls today! I wish them well ... just quit calling me. This is not working and will never work. Get a different job!

WINDOWS - NOT!!!!

Big scam.   They SAY they need to get into your computer NOW , because your system will CRASH if they don't.     I got into a Royal Cussing Match with this foreign guy.   He said "Did you just use profanity on me?"  I said "No, you must not be able to understand my ENGLISH LANGUAGE".  

I had a friend who fell for it.  He got INTO her computer , and then demanded money to fix it.  He would not stop the scam until she PAID.  She was dumb enough to PAY by credit card.  Then, her entire system CRASHED, and he had ALL of her information that was on her computer.

BIG TIME ... BEWARE OF THIS CALL!   WINDOWS WILL NEVER, NEVER, NEVER MAKE A CALL LIKE THIS!!!!    THEY KNOW THEY ARE SCARING YOU INTO SUBMISSION!!!  

I'D SUGGEST, YOU CUSS THEM OUT, AND HANG UP FAST.  THEN, BE SURE TO BLOCK THEIR NUMBER ON YOUR PHONE, AND THEN, REPORT IT, AT A PLACE LIKE THIS ONE.
