who would call my cell @ 9:00 at night? and I couldn't understand what she was saying? I no longer have skype. . .I got rid of it in April 2011, I didn't pick up @ all and I have no intention 2 pick it up in the near future.

I received a call tonight on my cell phone from this number with no message left.

just got cell phone number changed 9/22/2011 and have never given number out. i got 12 calls 1st day  (more than i got in 4 month with old number - but 2 calls twice a day every day. i had to make a silent right tone and turn off vibrate). im going to get a number number. 3 calls were eleven digit numbers and no one leaves messages.

caller states from mircrosoft will help you go into you account to help with error reports recieved from your computer. Asked for website or return phone number to call back did not have one. stated they would call me back, I tried to call number back and not a valid number??

The reason for the strange call is because you have your skype set to foward your call to your phone.

A man called my husbands cell (12:00 on a Sunday) claiming to be a Microsoft employee, my husband (at work) gave them my cell, (we recently had issues with our computer but through Dell)... When I answered the man seemed very scattered, trying to tell my that because my husband was busy I needed to give him access to our computer so they could fix the problems... When he mention Microsoft that was my first RED FLAG. Why the hell would Microsoft call me? I have no account with them... to which he replied he had been monitoring my computer for the last 3 months, and they saw clear problems to which they would like to resolve (RED FLAG #2)... Wait... you have remote access to my computer? No Ma'am, your computer sends us an error message when you have an error... (OK people... even if you aren't tech savvy... think! Yes, if IE shuts down, a pop up appears asking if you would like to send it to Microsoft... Even if you say yes, it doesn't give them your phone number, or any contact info... MICROSOFT DOESN'T RANDOMLY CALL!
Once I ask him to explain that, because it doesn't make sense, he starts running in circles. I asked where he got my contact info (clearly he is beginning to get frustrated) and he said Dell... (well... I have dell and I have been working with them as of late) Why would Dell give Microsoft my info? to which he replied we have contracts with them... RED FLAG! really? so Dell sells all personal info to Microsoft so they can randomly do a check? I keep inquiring because his story doesn't make sense... after about 15 min he starts screaming [***] your ass! [***] you in the ass! this lasted about a 20-30 seconds and then he hung up.
I called my husband who said this 661 number is the number that called him... mine came up unknown though... so I called AT&T who gave me the number that called me... 775-453-3523

looks like someone made a mistake. Though the police said there was nothing they could do... I called Microsoft (since he was posing as their employee) and gave them all the info, for which they were very grateful since they didn't have a phone number that worked on the call back.
I hope these [***] people get what's coming to them! I also hope no one gets scammed in between!

I just got calls from this number and thru your comments I figured out it is my daughter trying to skype me from england. We just talked and it WAS her!!

I lost my phone and used my friends skype (they knew i was using for this) to call my phone and the number that came up was 661 380 3000 well I lost my phone again and used their skype to find it and the same number came up and they pay for a number that is totally different than the one that showed up I calle them and told them. We neither one know what to do to fix this.

I received two times with this number and I was trying to call back and saying that it is a call from some law enforcment , still I'm confused and I have no idea what I'm going to do if I got the same call.

I got a couple calls from this number & tried to call it back & got a message that this is not a number I can reach anyone at.  Okay.  I'm suspicious by nature & the number has an IL area code.  That really makes me suspicious.  Thanks for posting this number & reporting your findings.  Maybe a sting needs to be set up to get these guys.  Come to my house, Smith & Wesson will be waiting to greet your sorry-ness.  God bless America.
