Most likely this number is from "Skype Transfer"  - When I miss a call from Skype, and is transfered to my cell phone, appears this number 661-380-3000  or 0001234567 and also 10001234567

Clearly this is a case of slander.

The call was received on Febraury 16, 2011 at 2:53 AM Eastern and 11:53 PM Pacific.

Thats the same number that comes up when my husband calls me from afghanistan..

This number shows up on my phone when my friend from China calls using Skype.

I have been getting calls from this number also threatening to break in to my house. My friend is a Sheriff and he said he would investigate the problem. If any of you want to add your info to the case feel free to message me back and we can swap numbers or emails and make a bigger case out of this. Number calling me is 661-380-3000 and 10000123456 and unknown numbers. Also got my number from craigslist.

They called me @ 3:42AM!!!!

this person called me six times last night between 3:50 am and 4:58
they left me three voicemail messages
he tolf me his name was james and that i was being mean and gonna kill hiself because i didnt answer and then that he would see me the next day and then that he was mad cuz i didnt answer and that the last girl that made him mad was "gone" and said goodbye using my real name
im not sure who this is but im fairly certain its not from skype or military, but its scaring me...
if anyone has any information on this number please email me and tell me whats going on...

Call from this number and no reply. Apparently I am not the only one.

Solution to the problem:
This number appears when Skype transfers a missed call to your cell or phone.
Just go to Skype, look up the list of calls and on the call in question click on the + button, this will tell you the skype name of the person calling you. Once you have that you can turn in the person for abuse of the service. In my case this person called me more than once so in addition I blocked him on skype to make sure he cannot call me again. It is not always the same person, but the skype name will show up in your history of calls.

This guy keePs calling, he always call me the N word, says he's going to call the sheriffs department on me, and he keeps telling me to stop calling him.. He called two days ago and he was talking crap about my craigslist add. Can someone tell me who's is this person calling. Or can it be stopped??

this number called me also and i answered with a hello...they then responded with hi is this (myname)...i said yes whos this..and they said you dont no me and hung up...DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO THIS IS????

Yeah same thing to me... then I remembered I couldnt find my phone so I called it from skype... so yup it's 100% from skype.... So it was probably a friend or family member from abroad!!!!

Ber, I'd have told him that me and my shotgun will meet him on the front porch, no need to break the window out... and that he should go ahead and call the coroner to meet him there, since I hate bloody bodies lying around for more than 5 minutes. LOL Sorry he scared you. Its a damn shame these morons get away with it.

I just received a call from (661) 380-3000 this morning ...  from a guy who saw my ad on Craigslist about a lost cat I posted.   He was VERY disturbing and said many horrible things about my cat.  First saying it was alive, then dead.. and how ...etc.  
After I hung up on him, he called back (from a different number) saying it was a PRANK.  He should be denied service from SKYPE if that's how he is getting away with making these calls.  
Who does this????  There are some sick people.
