It was my doctors office reminding me that I had an appt.  The service must use Skype.  

You need an updated Android phone that has the Google Assist. Enter in your sleep time and all calls will be blocked EXCEPT for the numbers in your contacts that are marked as favorites.
This lets us sleep at knight knowing our daughter can call us 24/7 without being interrupted by unwanted calls.

I've learned that this number is what shows up when someone (a real person or a telemarketer) uses Skype to make a call. I let the call go to voice mail and later saw a message from my doctor's office confirming an appointment, it was a recorded reminder message.

On the dnc list, but still constantly get calls from this wacko. Either there's no one there or you hear some really gross crap. Put number on your blocked list

I received a recorded call from 661-380-3000 today at 12:03 p.m. The foreign woman's voice said the call was to remind me I had an appointment on 9/15/14 with a Dr. Luis Carnal. I have no idea who Dr. Carnal is, and neither does anyone else in Albuquerque. She gave a call back number starting with 505-268-XXXX but I didn't have my pen on me and forgot the last four digits. I called 411 and searched the Internet and even called my actual doctors to see if they knew who he was, but it's a mystery. Probably someone's idea of a prank given that there was no clinic name or address given.

Got a call from this number no message was left.  Says it originated from Bakersfield Oregon.  Hope this may help someone.  I just block these numbers easier then getting woke up at 3 am.

Dr appt reminder.

I got a call from this number and the message on my VM was a reminder of a Dr. appointment and it is OK.

I get calls from this number reminding me about doctor's appointments that I have scheduled.

Perhaps the source number is used by several different companies, and some of them might be legitimate.

they call me 6 times a day sometimes they stay silent and do not say anything. I have asked to be put on the Do Not Call list three times and they continuously call after my requests.

Received a call from this number. Answered.  Dead air. Just a theory ... When they call and you answer, they can now map your phone number to your phone/device (every cell phone has a unique ID number).  Just another data point for them to sell and build a profile about you for some sort of scam. Just don't answer any calls from phone numbers you don't recognize. Let them leave a message and then you can decide to call back. If no message = something fishy,

Just got a call from this number = Caller ID says SKYPE 1-661-380-3000. Any ideas?  No one spoke when I picked up call.

This is a Skype number- it took me a minute clearing out old calls on my phone- it's the number that shows up when my husband calls from Poland-
My landline actually shows the proper number, that's why I was confused, Europe shows as Palmdale, CA ( I actually have a brother that lives in LA county) so it's perplexing- but Skype calls from Europe, at least central/ Western Europe, show up as Palmdale, CA on skype when calling a cell phone.

This is an automated call reminding me of an upcoming doctor appointment.

I received a call from this number at 1:45 p.m.  I left as I thought it was spam but it is NOT.  It was a reminder call that I have an appointment reminder for a Dr. I see tomorrow.

I just got this call and it was a reminder for a doctor's appt my son has.  Nothing fishy.
