Received a call on 2/8 in the middle of the afternoon - all the caller id says is "Palmdale Area" - the lady asked if I speak Spanish, I said no and hung up.  No further calls.

I got a call from this number the guy claimed to be an agent for the FDA and said that I was being investigated for purchasing illegal perscription meds online. I fortunatly heard about this scam awhile ago and knew it was BS from the get go. I cut him off and said "let me guess I will be arrested if I don't pay a fine but if I pay it today it will all go away. I told him to send an agent to my house with my arrest warrant but until that happens to stop calling." Don't fall for their BS

this number 661-380-3000 called me too apparently about an ad the man said he was calling from a computer and had called twice before with this number and another number...I did not answer either then a local number came through he then wanted to call back from the computer and I said no...He did seem on the level but who knows

I just got a call from that number.

I got a call from this number last night (early morning) at 1:32 am (EST). It was a younger white male. He said that he was calling about an ad that I have on craigslist. He told me that he was going to be at my house in 15 minutes to pick up the item(which was a kids toy). I told him that I was asleep and to email me his info and I would get back with him tomorrow. He informed me that he must have the item in 15 minutes and he was heading to my house. He said that he had my address by my phone number. (It is a work cell phone, so there is no way that he could have my address). I told him once again, to send me an email with his info and I would get back with him tomorrow. He then goes to say,

"I will be at your house in 15 minutes. If you do not answer the door, I will break the window by the front door to get the item".
I then hung up on him and he called back and I did not answer.
I knew this was a scam after talking with him for a minute, but still very scary to wake up to in the middle of the night.

It is an overseas number from Skype. A person I am familiar with called me through skype and the number showed up in my caller ID.

I have received calls from Unknown and 661 380 3000. Unknown has been calling me about 3-4 times a day and the latter first called me a few minutes ago. I don't know what to do other than block the number from my phone. When I answer the other line is blank so I don't know who is calling and who to tell to block.

Bas+++++ called me just now 10:08pm. I'm like, who the hell is calling me at this hour. People are idiots. I'll save the number to "Do Not Answer." Hope it stops for all of us, but something tells me the prick will keep calling.

These idiots have called several times today.  First they called our home number and they showed up on caller ID as "Unknown Name" "Unknown Number".  They should not have gotten through because we have anonymous call rejection with Verizon.  Somehow they have found a way to get by this.  My husband answered out of curiosity and it was a foreign sounding person who said "Sorry, wrong number."

Then they called this afternoon on his cell phone.  It was the same type of call, but the phone number of 661-380-3000 showed up on his caller ID.

This past month we have gotten so many scam calls that I am tempted to just turn off my phones and let everything go to voice mail.  I am so tired of crooks and scammers irritating the heck out of me.

Frankly AT&T wirelss stinks.
One should be able to block what ever contry code you want.

they ere experts at masking the call to random numbers like 203, 206 +921930, 000123456, Unknown Caller The list is endless.
DoNotCall.gov is useless and is a waist of tax payers money since they dont do squat.
the state communication board, say oh! we can do nothing about those type of calls. Sorry.

That why I will never belive we went to the moon. If  both big corporations and Gov agencies can't solve call masking.

The funny thing is these companies ask for a different person each and every time they call.

Surely  a waty has to exist to stop these harrazer cold and put them in jail where they belong.

This guy called and said he was "Norm Hollenbeck" calling homeowners. I told him I have a happy little home that is made of Graham Crackers ( I knew it was a prank call). He caught the drift and hung up. What a dweeb.

I am getting the same calls.  They get the phone numbers from a call center in California..they are operating out of India.  They think if they call with an unlisted number that I will pick up---wrong!  Its bad when you have to screen your phone calls for your business because someone cannot take NO for an answer to your not wanting to sign up with their website company for advertising!!  I hate cold callers!!

Well I have recently received two phone calls like this.  One last week and one just now.  I don't know anyone from this area code to be calling me on my cell, so I didn't answer right away.  Last week, I noticed no voicemail was left.  Today was the same thing so I just google this number and found this message board.  Glad I didn't answer, and I certainly won't be answering now.  Thanks all.

I posted an ad on New York Craigslist looking for a toddler bed. I got a call at 1 AM from this number. I did not answer and a guy left a message telling me he had a bed but it was covered in "cum" and asking if I was interested... I'm glad I did not pick up the phone.

My sister just called me from Baghdad on my cell and the number 661-380-3000 appeared.  She was using SKYPE.  I just confirmed this from her.

Recieved a call from this number, and it was a guy who sounded like a terrorist who was reading off a teleprompter. He said that it was in reference to some legal matters, and that if Ididn't return his call or have my attorney do it, I would be responsible. Total bull.
