I listed an ad on craigslist, and about 1/2 hour later, I reseived a phone call on my cell phone.  It sounded like a woman at first asking if I would take a check.  When I said, No, they said '"oh, I was wondering if you would exchange the item for my big, fat D@#K!  I was like, Excuse me?  Then they said , I want to give you my big C@#k!  It was on speaker so that is when my husband took over and threatened to report them to the police, and then there was a mans voice on the other end....any more calls and we FOR SURE will!!  What a bunch of losers to spend their Friday night doing crap like this!

About 12:25am There's a call on my wife's cell.. I answer it.. The guy asks for me by last name only. Then tells me his name, Mark brgtonii, and he's from an Internal Security company contracted by my ISP. Continues telling me there was a lot of disturbing traffic and complaints coming from my IP. Talked something about bit torrents, and DDOS attacks from my computer, and how I'm not to leave town because the authorities were being involved. He could fix the problem for me or I could pay someone to do it.. In the meantime, my internet would be shutoff until my end was secure. I let him go. As I'm calling my ISP, her phone rings again. Same number.. I say hello.. a familiar voice gives me a name, not the name I was given the previous call, (but it's the same guy). Asked to speak to a Mr. Barker. I told him no one lived here with that name, and when he asked if he could ask who lived here, I told him no and hung up on him.

It is a skype #. It comes up as a Palmdale # so I did not answer and I missed my boyfriends call from Italy. :(

My friend has been getting vulgar calls from this number. Saying he wants to do things to her. And he wants to find her. This is crazy...

This person calls me everyday for the last 2 weeks. Calls me 5 times a day sometimes calls me more sometimes calls me less.

Because you have a Skype number. If you don't have a Skype number you can still make outgoing calls if you have a credit, but it will show the general Skype number which appears to be the 661 number.

It is a call from Skype, from my relative over seas in the Navy.

This number has been calling my cell many times a day for over a week. I did not recognize it and never answered. No messages are ever left. Today, out of curiosity, I did answer. After saying "hello" four times a foreign man whom I could barely understand ask to speak to the nickname I go by. He did have my correct last name. He claimed to be from the United States Government and said I had been awarded six thousand dollars if I would send him a fee. It was so difficult to understand him I had to continually ask him to repeat himself. Finally he became angry and yelled that he would call me from a clearer line and hung up. It is a skype number that cannot be traced. This scam has been all over the television news here in Tennessee. It is the first time I have had an experience with it. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!!!!! DO NOT SEND ANYONE MONEY from this number or give personal information. It is a dangerous scam. The # is: 661-380-3000

ok so this dude Andre Skrytel from craigslist just told me i was hired as his personal driver for two months. He said he was coming from Switzerland to Atlanta for a seminar and he would pay me $$120 a day and sumthing bout a deposit of a check in my bank accout...who not me ..lol..anyway i jus went alone with him to c what else he would say.We emaild each other i asked a bunch of question. somthing jus didnt seeem right. he asked was i married and do i drive ..what the heck do that have to do with anything.he said the hours to work was 8am to 2pm and told me too have a list of clubs, bars,etc so that he could unwind...wow ..really...i asked him why was he calling from a cali number he  said he was using his email to call out...so i jus decided to look him up on the internet and BANG here are a bunch of complaints on him.so i just emailed him back sayin i no longer wanted the position do to all the bad reviews on him n to have bless day.

calls and hang up leaves no message

I just got a call from the same number and I told the stupid idiot who obviously could not understand plain english to not call me anymore and to get a life!

Sounds like a Skype call. Person left a message for a male friend (wrong #), and will add to my silent ring list. I don't have anyone who uses Skype either.

When this number called me, it ended up being SuperShuttle, and they left a message confirming my pickup for the next day.

It seems strange to me that all of these random phone calls appear as the same number. Obviously, SuperShuttle is legitimate and had my phone number for a reason, but some of these phone calls sound like scams.
