- Larry in AZ| 1 replyThey left me a voicemail telling me that there was some kind of "farming allegation" and there would be a warrant issued in 24 hours--very like some of the messages I see above. I really think this is just another fraud and I'm certainly not going to waste my time calling them back.

http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx - Annoyed| 1 replyReceived the same call from the is 678-245-4304 said it was from the state of Florida. Anyway left me a message and no other information other than i have 24 hr to return the call, mind you the intial call was at 3:55 pm ET, and tomorrow is Saturday or within 72 hr a "locator" will be contacting me to serve me with documents. I contacted my local sheriff's dept and googled this # and found this. They have nothng better to do than scare hard working people out of the little money they have. I looked and pulled my bank statements and the one loan i have was paid already long ago. I do agree with someone here that said it is scary at how much information they have of mine that is personal....like my SS#, and so on. That is seriously scary.

If you have received a call stating:
1. You have defrauded a financial institution
2. You owe an unpaid payday loan
3. You have a warrant due to an unpaid loan
5. You will receive a court summons
6. Authorities are coming to arrest you
7. Anything similar to above,
a. Do not give them any information or verify any information for them
b. Tell them you know they are a scam operating illegally and that you are filing a complaint with the appropriate authorities
* File a complaint with the FBI on their Internet Crime webpage http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
* File a complaint with the Attorney General for the state you live in
The more information and complaints there are, the better the chance of getting these criminals to stop (or at least reduce the frequency). [abstracted from another site] - CWG40 replies to P.C.Fraudulent or Zombie Debt Collectors—Things to Know

[abstracted from another site] - Charles| 1 replyGot a call today talking about all the same stuff above. Left a rude voicemail and I just deleted it. I know I owe money on loans but these companies have contacted me and are legitimate business nothing like this scam. If it's real guess I'll just have to get arrested.
- Caller: Legal Offices
- Call type: Debt collector
- Matt88 replies to CharlesYou cannot get arrested over a civil matter. Also it is illegal in every state and federally to threaten someone with arrest over a civil debt. Please make a report with the bbb, FBI through a ic3 report and FTC. If enough people file complaints they will be investigated and dealt with
- bob sawyerthey called my cell number automated message began with no attempt to identify who I was
Failure to ask me to identify myself indicates the whole thing is a scam
charges alleged to be filed, which is contrary to law. Any suppeana must be hand delivered to confirm its receipt by
the correct party. ditto for any arrest warrant.
I Ignored the first call, decided to report when it happened again.- Caller: too fast to catch clearly

- flightrisk1I just received a call. Same as some comments above. Going to block number. Thanks for the site info to report them!

- GWSomeone had tried to call my land line. So I just checked the number. Lo and behold, another scam artist. As I know about these low living worms out there, I have not set up my voice mail. So I guess they were out of luck to leave a message. This is the price we law-abiding citizens have to pay for these morons where they take advantage of the freedom they have to leave ridiculous, idiotic messages or threaten you with arrests, warrants etc. In some other country like Saudi Arabia, these [***] would be be-headed!

- Dwayne replies to CasandraDid they stop calling?
- Diane replies to AndreSame here! And that unnerves me the most is how much personal informaiton that they had on me. I'm so glad I found all of these posts and comments. I feel like I did something wrong, but am starting to calm down! It's crazy how they can get away with this. I did call back several times, and the last time I asked for their license ID which they told me was AMD133L. Have no idea if that is valid or not, but these people have to be stopped!!!
- JoshuaThis just happened to me also. I called back and they gave me two different debts that I owe. $1172.16 and $1728.98. Same exact message everyone else got. Will be reporting to the police and FTC and putting a fraud alert on my credit report.
- Caller: State Farm "Farming"
- Call type: Debt collector
- Jerry NoelRobo call saying that I'm involved in a legal action and that lawyers were involved.
- Jill T.Yes, this lady called and left a message saying that there is a warrant out for my arrest if I don't give them a call within 24 hours. It's scary, but I have not done anything illegal. I read the previous messages and I see that it is a scam. Still, just annoying and upsetting to receive such a call...
- Caller: Farm Agency or something like that
- SheriHad the same number call me, just 5 minutes ago. A very rude sounding lady just started spouting off legal jargon and stated that I needed to get my legal counsel together and make a "statement" that will go on the prosecution's record regarding the matter. Finally after she shut up, I asked what I was being prosecuted for and she immediately hung up. So, just ask them questions and they'll eventually hang up and move on.
