If youre on the "do not call list" that does NOT prevent your BILL COLLECTORS from calling you. When you sign the application for credit, it says in FINE PRINT that you agree to allow them to call your dead beat lazy ass if you should become deliquent on your account. Are you all [***]? Good lord!

i'm considering this a phishing call.  because anybody who would call to collect on a debt that is not behind is payments is looking for bank account info.  don't give ANY info to these people over the phone!

They just started calling.  They want their money.  I don't blame them.  I need to make payment arrangements but it's hard to pay when you don't have a dime.   Gonna start giving the CC companies my ex's name and number.  He's the one that was paying the bills and has decided to stop paying anything, including child support.   Jerk.

They keep calling me over and over again. But, if it *is* GE Money / Pay-Pal, I don't even have an account with them.  Trying to tell them that they are calling the wrong number.

I agree when you get laid off you can only live on savings for so long.  My husband and I are having to move to find work after he was laid off.  Not everyone who doesn't pay is a dead beat! Get real people.

Keep getting calls from this on my cell phone! I owe a lot of people, but GE Money/Pay Pal isn't one of them. not for nothing, but if they'd atleast have the common courtesy to leave a gd message, I'd call them back! NOT a conversation for the working environment :-)

I can relate to you so much. My boyfriend's hours have been cut back to, at most, 32 hours. This paypal account has saved our ass on a few occasions, I lov'ed' the paypal account until this BS started w/ the damn phone calls!! Never fails, it's either them or somone else, either way it's a fu*king toll free # fom...hell, who even knows anymore. It sure as hell isnt s friend. Do you know how to get these people to STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean, isn't there some kind of  against this kind of harrasment?????????

I started getting calls from a number showing GE Money and now I am getting them from this number. Yesterday they called at least 8 or 9 times! I have a PayPal account which I pay for items out of my checking account. I have no credit card with these people at all. When I pick up the phone there is never anyone on the other line. I am fed up and want this to stop - any suggestions?

The do not call list is for telemarketers..   It does not stop someone you have an established business relationship ie. a credit card company, from calling you.

apparently you don't read so well for being such a smart a##.  several readers said they are caught up or don't have an account with them.  I guess you must work for one of these idiots yourself.

these idiots want quit. it is from paypal/ge money and the payment isnt due till after the first of the month but they keep hounding. they have used numbers from california to north carolina and want quit.

I get a call at least once a day.  They do not leave messages.  I do not want to change my phone number but it is aggravating and I think it's rude that they don't give Caller I.D. nor leave call back information.  I find it a bit unsettling...

thank God for google voice i created a separate voicemail just for them and route their number(s) straight into that and they get a nice voicemail telling them to back off. The best aprt is it never rings my phones and when i look up the call list it is always like 3 or 4 times a day. here is an example of the voicemail they leave:

I just got this phone a few hours ago and have told NO ONE about it... they are the first people who have called.
I didn't answer and they left no message.

I realize it's likely a paypal credit card or some kind of credit card from GE money bank like you're all saying but here's a kick : i have NO credit card, and have never dealt with them in any sense. Once, a long time ago I applied for one of their cards and was denied. So, I never dealt with them again and guess what? They're calling me 3-10 times a day now, and when i ask who the card is referring to they hang up.

paid minimum due...(Paypal via GE Money) these people are rude and they never stop calling ...can't get away from them..haven't used this for years, but they keep adding it on...

Hows this for an idea why don't everyone of us who gets these calls do this.Call their number and as soon as they answer hang-up.After all there are many more of us than there are of them.Maybe if we all did this non stop we could flood their switchboard,and they won't be able to conduct any other buisness.
