Received 2 calls from them over the past few weeks.  Wanting to verify information as to if I was an authorized Microsoft user and the purchase information on my computer.  Then said that they are getting error messages and detection that my system is infected with a virus.

When I told him that he was full of [***] because I am very knowledgeable in regards to anti-virus and stuff, he then changed his story to that the problem wasn't with viruses, but with corrupted files that were not loaded properly.  He could not provide an explanation as to why I am just now getting calls when I have had the system for 10 yrs.  He could not provide an answer as to why it is that he is calling from the Microsoft Control Center based in Buffalo New York and has a Tarrant County Texas phone #.

Got a call from this fool saying what he wants to do to me and doesn't speak very good English. I asked what company he is with, and he won't tell me. Please help me find this out so I report him. This is very unprofessional.

Received phone call 11-8-11 at 12:30PM and man on other end of line sounds African. He said he needs my home address to return to money someone scammed from me. I simply hung up on him, but became curious enough to trace the 682-267-0924 phone number appearing on my caller ID. Afterall, it is too dangerous to give a stranger your personal data. There are many scammers using the internet and phone system in attempt to get your hard earned money. Do not start a conversation with this crooks, tell them nothing and just simply hang up!

Now they are selling Bullion. Started with, "Unique." They aren't unique. Stay away.

middle eastern man said he worked for a perscription drug company.  They have been calling for days and I am sick of it.  He hung up on me when I started to go off on him yesterday but called back again today.

This is an Internet phone call. The 682 number can not trace the number. It's similar to the 000-000-0000 Caller ID numbers from Internet calls.

That said, someone with a distinctly Indian accent said he was in Florida and I won $500 in grocery coupons. All I had to do was pay $2.90. Of course, they said "Fre" and our Texas AG takes a dim view of any fee when you say, "Free." Ask Horizon Travel, who lost a $52,000,000 court case about the $50 registration fee for a "Free" trip.

What they want is your credit card number. Give it to them and you will be sorry. They will charge thousands and disappear.

Called four times today. First time they said they were Charter Communications. Calling back got me a "disconnected number" message.

This number is a "voice over IP number" - meaning that multiple companies can use it if the call is placed via an internet call service. They have called my work repeatedly and I keep telling the woman not to call. We're not interested in what she's selling!!

Indian accent man called my work asking for the business manager or owner. I replied not in and asked to take a message. He said no & asked for a name for when he calls back and asked when they would be in. He said he will call back. When he does, I have his number, he will get dead air.

I received two phone calls early this monring, one at 2:30AM and again at 5:00AM.  Both calls sounded like a fax machine.

Just about a minute ago we recieved a phone call from this nuber saying that we owed money from the hospital. We tryied to get the information and address from them but they kept on saying that they were going to arrest us. They now all of your information. Please watch out for this number IT IS A FRAUD!!

They have called my number about 3 times a day now and the same thing each time.. Am I a diabetic, or anyone in my family.. And even after telling them remove me from your calling list they have only continued to call more!! So I reported them to the do not call government office!! Do the same all of you and it will stop!!!

These people call all day long!  I have just started hanging up the phone when I see their #.  Wish there was a way to stop these calls. Clearly the Do Not Call list does not stop them.

Indian/Pakistani type accent younger woman requested we turn on out computer because our machines were sending them malware and spyware.  When I asked what IP address I was using she abruptly change the subject and said ”take care of your computer” and immediately hung up!

I think once they know you are on to them they get off the phone very quickly.

Wow people seriously. Has anyone bothered to actually pay attention to these calls. This is a legitimate call from a legitimate company. They just tried calling me last night but I wasn't available & probably wouldn't have answered it anyways since it shows as Out Of Area but they left a message.

It was Hayneedle calling me because I had requested to speak to a Manager there.

Based on all of the different types of calls, who knows why we got a call from them.  I guess if it was important, they'd leave a message.

I received a call from this number 682 - 267 - 0924.. When I tried calling this number back I was told that it could not be done by this method..
I am not sure why I received this call. I really would like to know more about this type of call.. I will research this further. I am thinking if I don't like the outcome I will be notifing my local police department to let them know.

I didn't happen to answer this call which hung up when it switched to the answering machine.  Got the number from caller ID. Just a nuisance.
