Just got a call from this number on my fax machine (I know, who has a fax machine nowadays!) and got a fax supposedly from American Airlines on travel deals to Mexico. First of all, American Airlines would never fax so knew it was bogus. At least I only get one of these every 3 weeks or so.

Middle Eastern accent man - I Rec'd call saying they were from "Symantec" (except he could not pronounce it correctly). Said they were getting reports that my computer had a virus. I hung up on him once. He called back. He wanted to "tell" me where the virus was on my computer. I requested that he NOT call me again.

These clowns keep calling but they are never on the phone when I answer and then when you call back you get a recording saying this was an IP/VOIP phone call.

I don't know who the caller is or what company since they do not identify themselves nor do they leave a message.

This is a business - all they ever do is hang up.

I work from home as a customer service operator.  My phone is connected to a timer and my phone calls are taped and sometimes monitored.  During the 6 hours I worked this number called 4 times.  After my shift I called it back and got a recording saying this was 1) an internet computer phone; 2) that it was not traceable to the caller and 3) if I wanted to know more to consult the internet.  Later I got a message from the republican governor spewing hate speech toward the president and inviting me to join a party line phone chat...unbelievable... You'd think they'd learn to tone it down after Gabby Gifford got shot in the brain.  If I didn't need a phone I would yank it from the wall.  And yet the phone companies charge for caller ID when they don't deliver....  Why do they get away with it?  The smart folks know that this is because most of the politicians are owned by big business.

In other words, this number is used over and over again - and by the awy - I worked as a computer tech and the tech calling from Microsoft was a scam.

I receive calls from this number all the time and they do not leave a message nor do they say anything at all when I actually answer the phone.  This is SO annoying!

We are receving a fax calls from this number 30 to 40 times a day!
Would someone block this number please??????????????????

Said they were from microsoft and were getting virus alerts.Wanted me to go to my computer. Told him he could send a letter to inform me and go to h#ll.

Just received a call from this number on my business phone. It was a pre-recording of a woman saying that I won a Round-trip airfare from DFW to Miami and a free Carnival cruise for 2 people. All I had to do was press #1. I just hung up.

Not sure how they got this number, as it is a business only number.

The caller ID showed this number but it was a bonified call from a friend of mine in the Philippines!  He was using a cell phone to call my landline.  Whenever he calls, I see a variety of phone numbers. About half the time my caller ID does show the correct number for his cell phone.

Received 2 calls from this number on a Sunday.  They never leave a message and we don't answer.  I just added them to my phone's call block.

Caller CLAIMING TO BE FROM MICROSOFT with heavy Asian accent trying to trick me with the EVENTVWR scam.  See Google for description of this scam.
He would not give phone number, but it was in my caller ID.

Received call wanted said they were from the yellow pages and wanted to talk to the person in charge of advertising.  NO!

called this morning, claimed My Soc Sec Number was being used fraudenly, gave me a 1-800 number to call. Loved the intro, this call is for bssss Noise, with if you are not bsss noise please hang up now, NOTE the Noise at the convienent time so you cannot hear the name of the person they are trying to contact.

Within minutes, I received calls on three of my numbers from this number, 682-267-0924. I tried to call it back and  I get a message saying the call was an internet based call and cannot be traced back to whoever is doing it. How do we file a complaint against the VOIP company that issues this number?

These calls come from the number listed or from 631.  They call several times a day then hang up when put through to the people requested.  How can this be stopped?  We are already running short handed these days and this ties up our resources.

If you find out what can be done, please share on this website...I will do the same.

Repeated calls and hangups.  Recall says this is an internet device.

You all should know that these "scumbag" are reading all of your and our comments. And we sure hope they do, at our number, all the incoming calls from such numbers are recorded in full compliance of the FCC rules.

Our numbers are federally protected > registered with the Federal Trade Commission for the past 5 years<. We have ways to get these scumbags out of business and out of this world. Each unwanted call coming from this kind of numbers protects the Americans in USA with a $50,0K/call.

They have been told and a few other before. Others had stopped. These dogs should stop too. FDCPA has a $1,000.0/call fine and FTC (Federal Trade Commission) has slapped thousands of these dogs with $millions and has put them out of their existence. We will post the update as soon as we threw the bone to these dogs and then get their ass. By the Federal Law, ref to as FDCPA / "Fair Debt Collection Practices Act", the collection Agencies have been put out of business.

If U google this Law and the victims, One Person who owed some $500-$700.00 was harassed so much in Violation of the FDCPA about 2 years ago that filed a civil suit against the Collection Agency and the jury awarded him over $1.20 MILLIONS punitive damages and the agency went to hell.
