Calling and hanging up ... I would like to get these people's home numbers and do the same to them!

Lower my interest rate BS.  Recorded message.

Just got a call from them.  Didn't leave a message.  Don't know anyone from ND.

The called me but the caller ID says unknown caller so I did not answer.

There just has to be a way to STOP these calls !!!  OMG   I hope they all rot in he!!    And what is even more upsetting is the elderly that are being scammed out of their life savings from these crooks.

This company calls me on a weekly basis to tell me that I have good payment history and they can lower my interest rates.  Unfortunately for them, they have no control over my rates.  I've politely asked them not to call me again several times and told them that I am on the do not call registry.  I've called back when they've left messages and pressed 1 to get off of their calling list. This company is a complete scam and is not following the FCC regulations.

I received a call on my cell from 701-217-1068.  I don't know whose number it is and caller left no message.

Do us all a favor.  Get an answering machine to screen your calls.  Voice mail works to some extent too, but with an anwering machine, I can listen and decide if I wish to pick up the call.

Why?  Because when their computer gets an answer, it has to spend time tying up one of their outgoing lines to leave a long message.  The more time you tie up, the fewer people they can call

If they get a busy or no answer, then the computer immediately goes to the next number and your number goes into the redial list to try again later.

Sometimes, an answer by an answering machine can reduce the number of calls you get from one scumbag caller and it ties up the phone lines long enough to prevent them from calling someone else!

If everyone had an answering machine, we could cut their calls in half with the existing number of outgoing lines they have!

Nothing but people working a scam.
Don't ever take a call or reply, as this just tells them they have a live fish on the line.
If you want to do something, file a complaint.
Maybe it will be just one of thousands that will never be looked at by the FTC or FCC...but at least they will have it on record.
Sooner or later the feds are going to get tired of all the calls from us and start cracking down or limiting this garbage on our phones.
We can put a man on the moon, and get rid of Bin Ladin, but we can't stop this junk coming to our phones. Gimme a break !!!!!!!

They call two or three times a day. Foreign accent obvious. They want to lower credit card interest.

The FTC, not FCC, runs the Do Not Call list.

This telephone number 701-217-1068 is a telemarketer. All the phones I own are forwarded to my cell phone and when I do not want to answer, I just them to my contact list and give them names like, Don't Ans, DDDDDDont Ans, No Ans and so on. It works for me. I just look who is calling then I hung up.

Got a call from this number last week. I answered, and pressed 1 to speak to someone.  They told me they could lower my credit card interest rates.  I asked if he worked for one of my credit card companies and he would not answer me (which obviously means no).  I told him I was listed on the Do Not Call registry and he should not be calling me.  He was incredibly persistent and insisted that I answer his questions to see whether I was eligible for his service.  I finally told him I was reporting him to the Federal Government, which I just did.  Don't answer if this guy calls.  Or if you do, immediately tell him you're reporting him and hang up.  He hasn't called again.

Tired of getting these unwanted calls. I have caller ID and don't answer if I don't recognize the number. Very annoying!
