I pressed 2  to have my name removed..They were telling me about not paying my bills

Got called at 2:24, noticed it was yet another recorded solicitation (sounded like the one offering help getting business grants from the government), and hung up.  With the huge number of complaints here that keep on increasing, I'm surprised that the feds haven't shut these guys down yet.

I'm in Oklahoma but we did just have a blizzard with 18inches of snow so maybe they are selling woodchippers or snowblowers.

I'm from Centralia Ontario, got a call on Feb.3 about 11:00 am from this number and all there was was silence.

9:11am JUST got a call from them, no one responded when I answered. I have now started to save these numbers in my phone, with the name "Do Not Answer" so I remember for next time that they have called, I was not satisfied with what they wanted, and they are not worthy of my time.  Getting sick of the high number of unwanted calls all-around.

Same crap.  In Ontario east of Toronto.  Call came in on the 27th--------------no message.  I call it back and all circuits are busy.  Yeah, right!

I am on the do not call list, yet I get calls like this.  I do not want nuisance calls from this number anymore.

in BC also got call, they must be making their way across Canada

They called and I didn't answer.  Getting bloody lot of these unwanted telemarketers and I'm on the do not call list.   Another complaint to report  to the Canadian do not call list at: 1-866-580-3625.

When will these criminal activities cease?  These harassments would stop if no sales or information would be given by anyone who answers these type of calls.  Scammers!!

701-625-5003 North Dakota.... Dead air.... I have an unlisted phone#, private, unpublished and I am
paying for it every month... rip off anyways..why they do not keep their promises?
My provider is Telus publicly traded Co, which does not care about the customers only their profits.
They have moved All the call centres to Manila, why? I am living here I have no job and I was fired
from my job because I have to dare to asked them to pay me holiday, they are "private" they do not
have to pay anything....They are above the law..... This is a lie and a violation of your's rights.
Just ignore these phone calls, write down the #, time, date and city. And you have a case against
them your PROVIDER, please,please go after them.
1) Bill 38--2003: Personal information protection act..... violation of your's rights..be creative, please.
Send them fax, call them and ask them why they are selling your's personal information and phone#
over&over&over...They must obtain the consumer's prior consent in writing from you.... do not care
about robocalls. Call only head offices Telus: Fax 604-899-9228 in Vancouver, they do have a phone#,
but they will never pick it up.... amazing... and we All are paying their SALARY, BONUSES atd.

Had a call from this number and answered it. Went through some elaborate procedure to be connected to another person who turns out to be Tom at Vortex Debt Group (866-574-5068) operating out of Florida. Vortex was quite cute about asking "why did you call us?", if you don't have any debt. I guess the North Dakota number is a call centre they hire so that they can be pure and innocent about THEM not calling US. I think  this gets around some "do not call" laws.

feb7/11  just received the call from 701-625-5003  did not answer. I am in South Bruce Ontario.

JUST CALLED BACK 701-625-5003. A recording directs you to press 1 if you are not interested in receiving their promotions and your # will be removed from the caller list within 2 days???

Don't fall for that press "1" crap.  If you do, there's a chance they can pickup your number and use it to make international calls.  These creeps aren't even in North America folksk - they use numbers that can be redirected to look as though they originate in NA (usually Florida).  They're usual actually coming from the Carribean and Africa.  They're crooks.  I usually hit the answer button and then immediately disconnect.  Or I've tried that hitting "#" several times to mess them up.

For ones where I know someone's going to answer, I've treated myself to a cheap airhorn and give em a good blast with that.  You'd be surprised how quickly the calls stop with that one!  HA!!!!

We just got the call here also and we are in Ontario. No one answered when we picked up the phone but then directly after that we got a call from 866-294-1752

Im in BC and this is the 4th call from that number I have received in the last few weeks!!! Just going to ignore,like the rest of them.

I'm in Orillia, Ontario and keep getting calls from this number and they always interrupt me, never answer they never leave a message.

I just received a call from this number - (701) 625-5003, on my cell phone. This was a recording offering a grant of some nature. I pressed 2 to be removed from this list.I never was able to figure out the name of the company.

I got a call from this number today and no one responded when I answered. I could tell they had not hung up, so I assume this is some test to see if my number is a working number or when I'm home (as someone mentioned in an earlier comment). I won't answer any other calls from them!
