keep calling and when I answer there is no reply. They never leave a voicemail and its using up my cell minutes. Do not know anyone from this area or at this number.

For those commenting about using up cell minutes answering these calls:
Is it just me (or what)?  I don't answer calls on my cell phone that display "unknown" or for which I don't recognize the number of the caller, mostly so I don't use minutes needlessly.  A legitimate person/company will leave a message, and I can call back if I'm interested and at my convenience.

I received 2 calls in the last 24 hours from this number, and from looking at all these comments, a lot of other people are having the same issue, personally, I think it's a scam. Don't answer it.

The number appears to come from Martin North Dakota. After calling the County Sheriff in North Dakota to see if they knew anything, they gave me the name of Pacific Telecom Group at 213-825-1100, and when I called, I spoke to Steve Hamilton who owns the company that is selling my phone number to whoever is calling me from 701-625-5444. So Call 213-825-1100 to be removed...

This is bizarre.  It sounds like it is a recording that has a canned response to whatever you say.

Called me cell which is registered DNC and wanted to give me a free alarm system if they could install a system and place a yard signe if front of my house. It would be with installed with inexpensive monitoring. Wanted my name and adddress and if I owned my own home. I gave them nothing.

I asked the following:

1. Name of company president.
2. C10 License
3. business license
4. Ul Central station type and certifications.

Got no answers at all. told them I workded for an alarm company. Finally got a response, Thank you and have a nice day click.

Received a call today from this number again, but this time I picked up. No one on the other end.  Tried several times to call back and got a fast busy signal.  Finally got a recorded message... no company name, no hint as to what they are selling, but it gave an option if you're not interested in their service and want to be placed on the "no call list".  Takes 72 hours... we'll see if they honor that!

Have been getting these calls regularly.  I am on the DNC list as well.

701-625-5444 has been calling me for a few days now. Very annoying. No response when I pick up.   Thanks for posting your comments here.  I am glad to see I am not the only one.

Second day in a row they've called my cell.  I don't answer, they never leave voicemail.

I have received 2 calls from this number on my cell phone that is on the DNC list.  When I answer there is no one there.  This is a waste of my cell phone minutes.

I am getting calls from this number, but they don't leave a message.

701-625-5444 call from 'unknown' source (using N. Dakota area code).
No msg left. I have had similar calls before. I am on the 'do not call list'.
Why can't anything be done to get these to stop?

Just received a call from 701-625-5444. I answered and there was no one there. I heard a beep then a man says "Hello?" as if he didn't expect anyone to be on the other end. I hung up.

No one talks back at you. I guess they are trying to see if they are calling a valid number so they can spam!

Called back, got a message that said:

"Thank you for calling back.
If you are not interested in receiving future calls regarding our special promotions and would like to be placed on our Do Not Call List, please press one......please allow up 72 hours to have your number removed from our preferred marketing list."

Clearly a violation of the DNC federal registry.

Report it.

They called on my cell phone.  My phones have the "Do not call" on them.  They left no message and I didn't pick up the call.

i've been getting calls from this exact number 701 625 5444 for the past five months at least. usually in the morning around 8:30
its [***] creeping someone do something about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i used to pick it up and then after a few times ive realized its from the same caller ID so i dont anymore.
but it wakes me up in the morning its annoying.

Asking for personal info ask to have my number removed from their list but they keep calling and leave no message
