- Leigh Sanders| 2 repliesI received 23 calls from this company. A lady named Arapana and a man that I couldn't understand. They told me they were going to submit me to two different positions with Kimberly Clark and Kraft. I listened to their presentation and started getting a bad feeling. They asked me EXACTL Y how my name appeared on my social security card. I did not give them the accurate information as I was really starting to become suspicious. When I was finished with the phone call I called Kraft and Kimberly Clark's HR department. Low and behold they do not use Lancesoft for their hiring needs. When confronted Arapana told me that information was inaccurate. Kraft and Kimberly Clark would have NO reason to lie to me. I told her it would be in her best interest to NOT contact me again. Thankfully I have a family member who works for the Attorney General's office so I was able to forward all the email communications to them. I don't know what they will do about it, but I wanted it documented that Lancesoft is not a legitimate company. Please, please, please do yourself a favor and steer VERY clear of this so called company.

- SAVANNAH replies to Abid khanAre you kidding? You do not even know proper grammer! This is pathetic.........I wish all of you would leave us alone so we can get on with REAL opportunites.
- swayI received a phone call from an Anabelle from lancesoft Inc. I didn't answer the phone, but amazing enough, when I listened to the voicemail, she sounded EXACTLY like an Anabelle Woodard who left me a voicemail two weeks ago from a confirmed scam company NCA Exchange offering me a position with their company, who doesn't even exist! I'm sure lancesoft exists, but after the bad taste left in my mouth by this NCA Exchange and hearing this woman's voice with the same bad accent and speaking with the same pauses after each sentence, I'm positively not giving them one shred of my personal information. Please people, I know times are hard, but don't give any of these fools your personal information.

- Angela G. replies to Renato| 2 repliesI don't think anyone can do anything with information they are requesting. They obviously already have your email address, right? How hard is it, based on information on your resume, for them to know the rest of the information they're asking for already. What can someone do with the last 3 or 4 digits of your social security number? Last I checked, nothing - unless I'm missing something??
I'd think your employer would need your phone number. If it gets "abused", simply block them, or change your phone number. I guess I am a bit confused as to why you're so upset regarding standard information that is typically asked in the hiring process?
Please advise as, I am in desperate search for a job, and they have one that I am considering taking b/c I NEED employment. - Ctinkerton replies to FriendI agree. I have had numerous calls from people I cannot understand and it bothers me for several reasons. To me, giving a birth date and part of a SSN in an email seems scary. I think I will pass on this one as well.
- ctinkerton replies to amg11205Exactly.
- ManuelThey called me today to offer a position with UPS. After go and back e-mails, they require my SS. I denied to give it them. I check the position with UPS directly and they have not any position in Distribution Lead I. Be careful with these company. Scam or not, any company cannot require a SS and Human Resource from UPS give advice that they do not hire any third party for find a career with UPS.

- Andrea replies to Leigh Sanders| 1 replyThey are a legit company. I work for the now. The heavy accents and broken English will have you suspicious though. But they are real.
- Gunnar replies to AndreaOh, they're real alright. Real scamming foreigners who hope that their targets are more ignorant than they are.
It's very simple. If they ask for money for ANY reason, by ANY means they are FRAUDS! No pre-paid cards, no money packs...nothing. Give them NO information. NONE!
Be Safe. Be Aware.
Gunnar - Dallas| 1 replyOk, here's my experience and I am the real deal, taking time to do this so others can benefit.
All the unprofessional stuff is true. Phone calls, emails etc. The worst I've ever seen, 10 years could do better. I was not trusting and very rude, gave a fake SS and birthday, in fact just about everything I gave them was fake. That was 3 weeks ago. I did just have an interview with a firm that sounded legit. Set up by Lancesoft. I couldn't believe it. We'll see what feedback I get from that and will post to this board. - dallas replies to DallasI meant 10 year olds...;) Sorry, busy
- Adam Wilkie| 2 repliesI have had reason to be suspicious. However, I did receive a call from Lancesoft's client (Aetna), and I was legitimately interviewed by Aetna. I have been offered a job, and shall proceed with caution.

- TwlightNite replies to Adam WilkieI too have been offered a positon with a very large telecommunications company by the hiring manager at the company & it was arranged by LanceSoft. The problem is I have tried to contact the recruiter from Lance & he does not respond to email or voicemail & the client wants me to start immediately. After reading this, I am concerned about giving them my personal info for payroll. It is suspicious!!
- Jamie replies to Ashutosh| 1 replyYou mean DOB (date of birth). As far as SSN (social security number) goes this is untrue. I my self have put in an application to AT & T and they did not require it. Further more per the EEOC a potienal employer or recruiter cannot lawfully ask the potienal candidate for their DOB or anything else that would give their age way until they have been hired. That is unless they are looking for a law suit for age discrimination.
- Virgo for life replies to RobbyRSTOP BEING IGNORANT was certainly rude..... Ignorant means to not know.... The way to "know" is to ask questions and find accurate answers. It is awesome that people are skeptical about giving out their personal information such as social security numbers. Employers need to find a way to request this information via a protected web site or face to face, not via cell during an interview screening or to seal the deal on a job. Identity theft is real.
- virgo for life replies to amg11205I agree
- Ann chavis replies to Adam WilkieI received a call from lance soft today about job at Mercedes Benz are they legit ?
- Anonymouse replies to RobbyRCheckout lancesoft on glassdoor. It's a scam.
- anonymous replies to ShrirajBull [***]. Why not use an email address, or use a phone number? Certainly those are unique. I'd rather give out my phone number instead of my SSN.
- anonymous replies to cdkExactly. They are faking the phone number. Anyone can do that with a VoIP phone, or Skype.
