- John Clark| 1 replyThere is a sophisticated scammer that is sending out emails from a domain with a matching web site. Each of the domains have identical content with the exception of the recruiting director. The goal of this scammer is to get job seekers’ Social Security Numbers and Dates of Birth.

- Jacqueline J. Andersen| 1 replyI had applied for a Receptionist -1975 job on Indiana Job site. I then got a email from a person by the name of Niyoti S. stating that this employer was interested in me for the position..she sent me email with questions like What is my full legal name, phone number, email address ect..and also requested i send my resume. I sent her my resume not knowing that i had gone through a supposed recruiter Lance Soft Inc. She then proceeded to call me on phone and asked for last 5 of my social security number in which i did give her. Aparently someone from Novitex Enterprise Solutions was to call me and set up interview. When i went on line to see exactly where this Novitex Enterprise Solutions was at in Fort Wayne, IN...they have no such address or phone number for this corperation in fort wayne. So i went on line and googled Novitex Enterprise Solutions phone number and i called them. They do not have a office out of Fort Wayne at all. I told the lady i just appled for a receptionist job according to their recruiter LanceSoft Inc. She said they have no position for that open. soooo I told the lady heads up..someone pretending to recruit for your office. I went back to the original Job site application and notticed i actually applied for a place called Cor-Tech LLC out of Fort Wayne. I spoke to man from this office. He stated they have not filled the receptionist position yet and not sure if they are going to. I gave him heads up..of what happend. Somehow LanceSoft Inc. is getting information from people on web when your applying for jobs. I will not be sending of my W2's too them at all..do not trust these people and you can barely understand what they are saying. The number these people are calling me from is 703-889-6622 and 703-889-6854. Heads up.

- Bud replies to Angela G.Angela G. The last four of your SSN are the only randomly generated numbers if you were born before the mid 1990's. Since they also ask for your birth-date as well (the first two questions they ask) They can generate the other prefix numbers simply following the numbering algorithm used by the federal government. That is what worried me. At any rate could you tell me how your experience turned out? We're they legit because if they were that could help some people make their decisions.

- Victim replies to Jacqueline J. AndersenOMG, I'm so sorry that you gave them your SS#. You should contact Experion, and the other two credit groups to see if there is any unusual activity on your accounts. You should ask them to put a hold on your accounts so no one can open a credit card in your name. A good thief can figure out the first 5 number of your SS# based on your birthdate and place of birth. When you give them the last fur digits, then they have the whole thing.
- CercyseI just received a call from some guy who said he was from Landsoft. English not so good. Had to have him repeat himselft several times. Now I see that he has call others. My call came in at 703-889-6713. Not sure if it is ligit or not. I will check out the website and see.

- T.E.| 1 replyNow, I'm really confused. Lancesoft already sent me out on a drug screening, after we talked for a test with Quest Diagnostics. I know Quest is legit and the test was legit. But I also gave them my ss# and driver license # (but not bank account #). The real red flag for me was that they only pay twice a month while you're working for them, and you don't receive your pay until after the next half-month (work on 15th-30th, get paid following 15th). Also, no one from client company knew about the job, and Lancesoft used 703-889-6602/6833/and 6837, not 6815. Will I need to get new SS# and Driv Lisc #?
- Caller: Lancesoft
- TE replies to John ClarkBut is Lancesoft on this list? I didn't see them.
- TE replies to Terry blueand then what happened?
- TE replies to T.E.Also, when I go on job sites to see what reviews Lancesoft gets, the employees in India love them, but some of the people in Virginia complain that they spend too much time working on H1 visas for people to emigrate from India. Just raises more questions.
- vickiann replies to nunyaIt's not a scam. I received the same offer for a temp project with Xerox and I accepted it. The project lasted about 2 months and it was all legit.
- Cheryl GanttThis person is calling stating they are employed with LanceSoft, and trying to offer me a job with Aetna.

- Lisa| 1 replyI also received 1st an email then several calls from them and yes their Indiana accent is impossible to understand. They also offered me a yr position with ups. Immediately I started having a feeling something wasn't right. Then they asked for my birthdate. Ok no problem. Tgen my social security number. Not just the last 4. I told them I would not unless it was through ups link. Needless to say they couldn't do it that way. It a scam and in that type of business they should use a person that can speak fluent English. Could care less where their from but I think that half the scam so you don't catch on. Lots of complaints online with same song and dance. BEWARE

- BigA replies to LisaJob Scam:
How can you tell if this job offer is a scam?
1. There is no personal interview, or sometimes no interview at all.
2. It is a work at home position many times because the office in your area is not built, rented, or established yet.
3. You need a bank account to receive and deposit checks, or you need to receive packages and resend them.
4. You need to deposit the check, and send the money through some way such as Western Union or Greendot money card.
5. The pay and benefits are way beyond anything you would normally earn.
6. All communication is by e mail, text, or instant message. - ChristinaReceived four calls from someone from Lancesoft today. She could barely speak English. Woman does not know what "NO" means. Will block calls from this number from now on.
- Caller: Lancesoft
- Rogers replies to AshutoshVery poor English and they appear to work for Lancesoft Inc.
