Call from this number with a caller id of "UNKNOWN".   Left VM about a "great job" they have for me.   It was left for anyone, not me in particular.   No idea about what the job was, or where.  And the woman could barely speak English.   Ignored the VM.

Wow that escalated quickly. Just so you know they aren't Indian. Most of those call centers are located in the  Philippines. Actually most boring call centers are in the Philippines there just over 40,000 of them

Received a call regarding an administrative position, unable to proceed once they explained the last four of my SSN were required.  I refused and hung-up.  Five minutes later a gentleman called to explain their process, but I advised I'd have to call the company.

I worked with an MSP before and we NEVER required any personal information from a candidate to submit their resume for consideration to a client. Stop spreading lies. You sound like a typical Indian scammer apologist.

Yes, exactly. A recruiter DOES NOT need any of that information to help a person find a job. Any recruiter who asks for that up front is not legitimate and is most likely selling the data. Only a fool would believe what you just said.

I had 5 different recruiters from Lancesoft contact me today about job opportunities.   There was definitely a language barrier other way too many calls and emails from these recruiters.  I decided to goggle the company to determine if there are legit.  They are now blocked from contacting me via phone or email.

India-based recruiting scam.  Phishing for personal information -- the jobs are fake and do not exist.  Block the caller and avoid any future contact.  Its a fraud.

Why would you give some random caller your SS# & your bank account information?!
