Unsolicited calls several mornings each week

These people keep calling and one reason they often hang up on you is they know they've located an active phone number that they can sell to other scammers at a good price.  Just don't answer any call that does not have a proper Caller ID.  That will not stop the unwanted calls but it will help prevent the redistribution of your phone number to other scammers.  Many have done away with their home phones, going to cell phones only, however, those of us that want to keep the home phone for various reason are of the older generation and many don't get the free phones handed out by the government and paid for by fees on those that actually pay for their phone service.  I like my home phone as it is more handy that carrying a cell phone in one's pocket or, if female, your purse.  Just don't answer any call with a number unknow to you.

Do not want calls from this "charitable" organization and have told them so.  They continue to call.

This number keeps calling, but no one there when phone is picked up

I have been getting calls from these people for about 4 years, I have not answered the phone at all over all this time. Seams to me that they would get the message that I will never talk to them and  certainly never donate anything to them. I hope the fcc allows our phone company to block all rebo calls. Most of the phone calls that come to my phone are either scams or some other party that I will never answer the phone when they call> Than God for caller ID

I have donated several times however, when my son answered the phone questioning who they were they refused to answer and hung up. Now they call with number only and no ID. You were right to question this with the other person. The scary thing is that your phone number is not the only thing they have. They know your address.

Caller ID is Charlotte NC. A Landline.  NSPIRE , 6649 Blythedale Drive, Charlotte, NC  800-775-9020 Email: assist@nspireoutreach.org  This supposed charity does not appear to be licensed to do business in North Carolina for 2015.  Therefore the calls are in violation of North Carolina Law.  They should be reported to the North Carolina Department of the Secretary of State,  P.O. Box 29622, Raleigh, NC 27626-0622 (919) 807-2000 At the very least NC can collect the licensing fees these crooks are not paying.  PROBABLE ID THEFT / MEDICARE FRAUD

SCUM.  Have called under different phone numbers and asked to take my name off their list. Of course they don't.
This time they asked "for the lady of the house" and I asked who was calling.  They said "outreach". Charlotte has a number of organizations under the outreach banner and my educated guess is this is not one of them! The background noise was a total boiler room atmosphere.  Anyway, I hit my big red BLOCKER button and this number is over and out.

i have these guys blocked but I still see the number and caller ID on my phone (which does not ring when blocked). The name changed to "Charlotte NC" but same SCUMBAGS.  Now it's just fun to see their number popping up without bothering me.

Never leaves msg. When I've spoken to them in the past, I've ask them to stop calling and erase my number from their list.

Definitely NSPIRE/ Hope House.  I get calls from them all the time, checking to see if I have any donations at this  time. I honestly find it helpful, just wish they would email me instead to let me know when the truck will be in my area. the driver is always courteous and professional, and either a receipt is emailed to me, or they leave a hang tag with me or on my door. Well........... Another call this morning right after 8:00am.  Who calls at that early in the morning?  The answer is these jerks.  However, I still have them blocked so I only see their "UNKNOWN NAME" CID on the phone and number.  I don't get a ring on my phone just listed on my caller ID list. Fun to check back on these weasels.  They call often and at the worst times of the day. They won't honor to remove you from their Do Not Call List.  As for their HOPE Inspire Charity in Charlotte, do some Google research and BBB, not good stuff.  IMHO, if you want to donate cloths or money give to Goodwill or Salvation Army, good organizations with great track records (and no phone harassment).   Nuff Said!!

See if you can block the phone number through your telephone or cell phone provider.

This # calls daily, sometimes more than once.  It says unknown.  When you answer, there is no one there.

They called me SIX times yesterday (a Saturday) with four of those six calls placed within 3 minutes of each other.
