yeah I just got a call, I said hello twice. No Answer.

Same as above.  I was not home and have the number on my called ID.  I live in Minnesota and have no ties to California either.  My caller ID says it was the Presidio Hotel.

I live in rural No. Dak. and I got a call that showed the same name and number.  I answered it, and my husband was on the other end calling from his mobile phone.  He was just 30 miles away in So. Dak.   I've no idea how this could happen, but apparently it does.

I was on the phone and the call waiting came on and this number and Presidio Hotel came up as caller name.  I live in northern ny and have no connection to them and no one I know is in california.

I received a voicemail left by caller from this number on caller ID  (707-429-6000).  The male leaving the message appeared to be targeting seniors and using fear tactics to sell a medical alert system...

the message cut in with "...check on you or how close they live. YOU COULD SUFFER FOR DAYS"  
"...the only way for you to Stay safe at home is to have ....Medical alert system"

No one will come to your house."

and then the male caller repeated press such and such for more information, etc.  He spoke loud and repeated himself frequently.
No number to call was given.  I smell a rat.

Yeah, this number showed up on my caller ID. I googled it and it came up as some hotel in california.

I get so many odd calls a day even though I am on the do not call list. I think that list has been sold to some of these outfits. So tomorrow, I am changing my phone number. AGAIN.

I received a call from this number(3 of which showed up as unknown and the other just said from California) and they told me they were from California and that it was the publishers clearing house and they wanted to ask me some questions(such as where I worked). When I told them no and hung up he called again and then put his "manager" on the phone who proceded to ask me how many childred I had and if I believed in GOD like he did and that he would pray  for me. I asked them again to quit calling. They then called again, by now this is the 4 th time and I told them that if they did not stop harrassing me I would call the police.He then said that he was from the FBI and proceded to swear (such as using the f bomb) at me at which point I hung up and so far they have not called back. When I google it the # shows up as Presidio Hotel.

My caller ID also said the Presidio Hotel, but when I answered no one was on the other end.

I got a call from this number and it was my elderly mother connecting with me through a 3-way call set up with my brother (on his i-phone).  Funny thing is,  brother never came on the line.  But I now think he was listening (on mute) to my and mom's conversation.  Isn't that illegal?

I live in Chickamauga GA and I to just got a call from this same number the caller ID said that is was presidio hotel I said hello a few times but got no answer then it just went to a dail tone.

Got a call from this number and it was from a prison in Calif. If I wanted to accept charges press 1. My Brother is a prison guard in Calif but I am sure he would not call me like that. Just read a warning in local paper where someone got a call claiming it was publishers clearing house and they were trying to get a hold of him for some time and if he did NOT respond soon his prize would go someone else. He was given a number in Florida and they said they would send his big prize. Later another call from fedex saying they opened the package and saw it was time sensitive so please send xtra money to get your package on time.
Do NOT respond to this bogus call.

I got a call from the same number and my phone rung only 2 times but what was so odd was I lost internet right after and I had to call my phone co and reset my IP address , coincidence?? Kinda weird to me

Here's where it gets even weirder....   when this number showed up on my caller ID and I answered it, it was my friend Dan, here in Tennessee...  who's number begins with area 615.  I said, "Are you calling me from some hotel?" and Dan was just blank.  He had no idea what I was talking about.  Halfway through the conversation, we got cut off and Dan tried to call me back and the number showed up again.  The call failed to come through, so I called him back at his home number (area 615) and he answered.  So.... somehow Dan's calls to me got routed through 707 429 6000.  What the hell?    :o\

I just received a call from this same number and it was showing the presidio hotel in somewhere in california.I don't understand it either.It don't make sense because i have family in california , but they would call me on their cell phones if they were away from home.So i called the number back and it came up with this [***] automated system answering it.So it seems like a scam to me too.Thank you all for leaving a message on this site about this [***] that someone or some people that want to just start [***] with people.This world is so messed up anyway,so all of you please try to steer clear of all of the stress of it all. Got a call from the presidio hotel 707-429-6000. It was my son 5 miles away on his way home from his cell phone. Weird, I see where this has happened to several people like this. go figure?

I live in MN and got a call from Presidio Hotel.  When I answered, it was my brother using his cell phone only a few miles away.

My Father In-Law called me from his cell phone on Dec 31st and Jan 1st. My caller ID was 707-429-6000 Presidio Hotel. I answered the phone and it was my father in-law. He swears he was calling me from his personal cell phone. How does this happen

I received a call from this number also.  No one home and no message.  Guess I will start shutting of computer when gone after this,  Don't need a hacker.  We are in Montana and know no body in California.

presidio hotel showed up on my caller ID.  Talked about diabetes. I found out how to block this and other numbers.  (they called earlier today using a different number with area code 302)  First dial *60  Be patient and wait for the prompts.  If you want to block the last number that called the prompt will tell you to press # 01 and then # again.

dont know this number and i want it to stop
