I live in South Eastern Ohio and when our school has a delay or is canceled, the school has a recording that calls all the students at about 5:15 am in the morning. This morning, 1-7-11 the phone rang and the number on the caller ID said the Presidio Hotel with the number 707-429-6000. My mom answered the phone and said that we were on a two-hour delay and she said it was the superintendent's voice and it was the same message we get everytime. We did end up having a two-hour delay, but the number on the caller ID said the wrong number.

I just received a call from 707-429-6000 (Presidio Hotel) and I did not answer it as I thought it was a telemarketer.  A message was left on my recorder and it was a friend from the Netherlands.  I missed her call and I do not appreciate this one bit.  The call was a legitimate call but the number was an invasion of privacy.  I hope this is being investigated by some agency with authority to do something about it.

My husband is a truck driver, and while he is going thru certain parts of Mass, his cell phone comes up a this number, and his phone has a horrible clicking noise on his end. I have to call him back because he can barely hear me (I am in NY) One time my brother was visiting Las Vegas, called me from his NY # cell phone and it also came up presidio hotel

I get this phone # calling me 3x a day for the last 2 wks. I have never answered it, and they never leave a message.
I believe they "or what whom ever it is" also call from out-of -area. I never answer those unless there is a message.
I blocked that # just this evening.

I am getting horrible harassing calls from 302-747-7777 which is a diabetes marketing call - now this number started calling - I am certain the two are somehow connected.  These losers need to be kicked in the teeth so they can't make harassing calls.

I was not home when they called and it also said Presido hotel!!

I am on the do not call list or  i should say i listed my phone number on it. Wold like to know how they are getting my phone number!!

707-429-6000 - the caller ID showed up as "CALIFORNIA". The [***]'s voice said that she's doing some research on food and grocery shopping in my area....

recieved a call this afternoon while I was watering chickens. I said Hello three times no reply but they were there listening. I called them a dunghill and hung up. I don't have time for such bull. Why are there so may idiots out there that want to annoy us? Anybody have there number I want to annoy them back?

Just recently got a virus on my notebook p.c...  So, couple days before I go to take it to the P.C. Doc, I turn it on & Somehow the virus is magically gone..  Couple days after that, I get the same call for the same number listed above/below (CALIFORNIA) -- & Also googled it.  DEFINITELY A HACKER!!!  Be careful - get a good virus security, those free ones do not work! ! i.e. Microsoft Security Essentials.  Thank all of you for the other info as well  ;)

i have recieved 4 calls from this number in the last hour. having friends in ca i answered the first time but it was a hang up. ignored the 2nd and 3rd and answered the 4th. it was some person that sounded really far away so i hung up again.

i got a called this from the 707-429-6000 # and it was from gteh presidio hotel in california....it was that michael black guy and he said if i didnt call him back in 5 mins. i would be sued and he was very angry cuz i said i wasnt here....first he said i owed over $500...had to pay or go to jail and pay $5000. to get out of jail. somehow hes gotta be stopped...

I get the same thing when my husband who is also a truck driver calls home from out on the road.  The strange thing is that he never goes to California or even anywhere close to there.  Is there anything a person can do to stop this or a plae to report it.
