They just called me, too. They hung up when I answered it.....It's VERY annoying. I wish they weren't allowed to bother people.

So they are EXEMPT from the DNC list which I am part of.  I have been getting a lot of calls from them the past few days.  I just emailed them and told them to take my number off their list or I would report them.

Same story as everybody else. I received a call from 714-463-2940 on Sunday, February 15, 2009, at 1:09 p.m.--- no name in the Caller ID, only the phone number, and this: A7144632940. I did not answer. I was unable to trace the name of the caller with any of several free reverse-directories, but I DID learn that the call originates from a land-line in Yorba Linda, CA.

I don’t have an answering machine or voice mail, so I could not say whether or not they tried to leave a message, but I AM on the NATIONAL DO-NOT-CALL list. I, too, recorded the date and time of the call.

Thanks to everyone who provided further information about the source of these bothersome, nuisance-calls.

Just got my second call of the night, both times let the machine get it and no message left. Cant wait till they call again and I pick it up to unleash some frustration!

want them to stop calling

I just got two calls from this number ( did not answer)

Got 2 calls from this number in the last hour.  No message.

I didn't answer. My answering machine did.

Caller ID shows A7144632940, and telephone number shows up as 714-463-2940. when I pick up no no one responds on the other end.  These people have called me repeatedly and I never picked up until today.  I am on Do Not Call list.

They called me on my cell, don't know how they got the number. Picked up but did not say anything... just listened. There are lots of people talking in the background. The person was female. I hung up. Got calls from this number about 6 mos ago. Blocked them by using "block calls that are not in my contacts" setting on my cell. Stopped calling for a few months and then started again about a week ago.

I am getting repeated calls from this number, even on Sundays

2/22/09 at 4:49 PM.  Wanted to do a movie survey, told them I was eating and hung up.

I am tired of the idiots that think we are stupid to pick up phone calls from stocking [***] either selling or stealing!

It's actually a call from your child's school. Tell-a-parent sends out messages to parents via this number - it doesn't matter where you live it comes from this number. The school, district or your child's teacher can use the service to get mass messages out to parents about things like grades, open house, events at school, etc.

Caller ID comes up as A714-463-2940.
The company name is Datascension, they are a market research company.
I found this on their web site, it says you can be removed from their call list by sending them an email...

just got 2 calls from this # dint pick up

I have been going through the same ordeal and I can't email them as they I should do. This is aggravating and very unfair. Werte you ever successful in stopping these calls?
Can you help me? please!!!!
