For unsolicitated calls, hit them where it hurts.  If you or your machine answer, they have to pay for completed call.  Keep them talking as long as possible, give incorrect info, make it cost them.

I received a call from this number two minutes ago. Didn't recognize it and I didn't answer.

mmaky so i answered it and they asked me about a fast food servey.. and i was lyk why and the dude was lyk im only doing my job. and i was lyk thats the stupidest thing i;ve ever heard of and he was lyk im sorry for wasting your time. goodbye. and then they called lyk 15 minutes before that and was lyk hello and then when i said hello they hung up.... idiots i swear

Call came thru - did not identify who or what company is calling

This company calls me about 3 times a day or night, some times I am trying to take a nap and these jerks they call and do not leave a message, because of the information above I left a message for Lou Persico 888-996-9238 ext. 2424 and I also called the front desk in the company and told them to remove my number from their caller list...

This is how you can harass them back:

call their toll-free number from a payphone booth. Every time they pick up, they have to reimburse the payphone company $0.50 or more.

It's really gratifying knowing that they have to pay to listen to your complaints.

See my comment later - there is another way to get back at them by calling their toll-free number from a payphone booth. That costs them much more, and you can call them as much as you want and choose times that fits your schedule...

They called 2 days ago; I placed a block on the phone number with my phone company.  They called again today.  The call still got through! They left a fast busy signal on my machine.  [***].

oops forgot to  mention....the call got through again TODAY.  The caller ID just says Out of Area, but 2 days ago, it said "Yorba Linda, CA"

I received a call from A7144632940 on April 20, 2009 at 6:32 pm. It seems that they like to call in the evening hours. I am getting too many of calls regarding surveys.  I told the person that I was on the "Do Not Call List," but she continued on.  Somehow we accidentally got disconnected.  Oh, I wonder how that could have happened.  My finger must have accidentally pushed the off button.

Best method to get rid of them is to lie. Give them answers that are varied and not even close to the truth and change your story throughout. They aren't dummies and will notice your answers are inconsistent so will not phone you. Works better than any DNC list.

Good to know I'm not the only one getting these calls! They've called every weekday for a week straight! Mostly at dinner time too which is extra annoying...caller ID says "Yorba Linda CA"...definitely picking up next time and telling them to leave me alone!!!

Received called from 714-463-2940 at 10:30 p.m.  After finding out that this number is related to Datscension, Inc. I reported the call to the Federal Communications Commision
