Strange survey that insisted they're not a telemarketer, and then asked many questions related to credit cards that have air mile rewards.

Also asks a great number of nosy questions about yourself and your household.

Might be legit.

I answerd phone and was hung up on me.  Only the number showed up with AA at end--in the space where the name or company usually appears.

Received call from 714-551-5501AA (thats how it shows up on caller ID)
company name is Data Scension young man spelled the name for me. He asked if I could do a short survey on movies I told him it was a bad time and he asked if he could call back. I said sure. As soon as I hung up the phone rang again from the same number with a young woman asking if I could do a short survey on movies. I said no and told her of the call just seconds before and asked to be removed from her calling list and she said sure. We will see.

Called, assumed was a telemarketer so let run to voicemail. Caller ID said Orange (a bunch of spaces) C and then cut off because of edge of screen.

4 or 5 calls from T-Mobile CA 1 714 551 5501, all in the last 24 hours. No messages, just hang ups.

No message. Caller ID duplicated the phone number with "AA" after it. Weird?

I've had several calls this week from this number; they always hang up when I answer, or if no one is home, they never leave a message. Who are these people?

Male caller said that it was a survey and not selling anything. I told him I was not interested and hang up. Why would a survey company be calling from a cellular phone?

From Orange CA, female caller who repeated - "Hello? Hello?"  I responded but nothing.

Phone Number came up as "714 551 5501AA". No Name though. Never left a message, and I didn't answer.

I got several calls from this number as well...I followed some steps an FBI agent that is a friend of mine recommended and IT WORKED..
don't need to sign up at phone company or with police, these idiots can't tell so..You can put this message on your phoneyou
I'm sorry I/we can't come to the phone right now but you must leave a message. I/we are receiving annoyance calls and the phone company has a trap on this line. If you do not leave a message I/we will assume that you are the annoyance caller and this call will be traced.
If you answer the phone and the harassing caller is on the line, another suggestion is to say: "Operator, this is the call." Then hang up. Or say the word "trap," what time it is and the date; then hang up.

Picked up and there was no one there.

Called and didn't leave message.

Called me last night, I ignored it.  Called again today, I answered and there was only silence.  Said "Hello?" 5 or so times and I hung up. Called back and reached a message that said if I email dnt@datascension.com they will remove me from the list. So I just emailed and will see if that works.

This number is on my caller ID box twice. Once on July 31 at 12:31 pm and Aug. 4 at 8:20 pm 2009.

called twice today - first time I let it go to voicemail, but there was no message.  I called the # back and got a message saying the company's name was "Datascension" and that they specialize in data collection, not telemarketing, along with instructions to email dnc@datascension .com to have your number removed from the list.  I emailed my request at about 1 pm.  Now here's my irritation - they just called back, at 9:48 pm!  I was trying to settle my kids to sleep, but I answered it to tell them off.  No one was there!  If you're going to call my home well past a time that would be considered polite you can at least be on the other end when I answer.  I don't care what they're calling for, no one should call that late.  Very unprofessional and discourteous.

i received (2) calls and (2) hang ups within a 2 hour span. they did not leave a message.
