They call constantly, but I do not pick up.  No message is ever left on my phone. So annoying!

The caller is a Spanish-speaking male ... calls several times, typically on weekends. I answered once and I was asked if I spoke Spanish; I said no, and he hung up

I got this call and it was soneone trying to speak but all I head was the echo of my own voice and another voice saying I will try calling you back and never did. Weard I lke Morath suggestion. Calls and hangups aswell.

I receive calls from 714-551-5501 nightly around 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM EST.   The Caller ID says 714-551-5501AA.  One time someone asked me to participate in a survey.  I refused.  Now the caller hangs up every time I answer.  How do I stop it????

This is part of a nationwide attempt to get your financial info. and/or money. Sometimes they identify themselves as "card services" and leave a message to call back right away.  Other times there is no message left.  If you get a call from anyone you don't recognize, check this service (800 notes). I recommend you report this to the F.B.I. and police.  If you get one of these it will continue from other area codes.  This is a criminal attempt to misrepresent and get money or information.  The numbers that have called are:

Once this starts, it continues and keeps going.  This has been occurring for over two months in my case, and each call comes from another area code the next day or in a couple of days, including the weekend, and up to after 9p.m.  Notify authorities about this. If they get old people or gullible ones, and no doubt this happens all the time, lives are being destroyed most likely.  How it starts I don't know.. but since I had a friend years ago who was a "telemarketer number supplier", I would guess that someone has gotten your phone number and perhaps your I.D. and is selling it to groups that use it.  I have terminal cancer from exposure to Agent Orange, which causes a condition known as chemobrain, and makes people open to suggestion.  Also, thanks to a couple of companies that have falsely reported that I owe them money, such as T-Mobile, and who then "sold" my debt to a collection agency, that recently offered to settle a false debt for $650+ for $50, these sorts of shady groups may be selling my and your phone numbers.  If nothing else, request full information on the company calling and if you get it, report it.  I saw a piece on 60 Minutes, I think, about a group on the East Coast, run by a former felon, that was using "debt collectors" to falsely threaten people that had debts with arrest, which of course is another lie and not possible by Federal Law and likely the laws of your state.  Since this scam is interstate, it is the job of the F.B.I. to investigate, and deal with it.  Since 60 Minutes put their investigation on the air, they actually did what they are being paid for - by you  and your family and neighbors!  Request the authorities notify you of what they find out.  You are their employer!

The company is called Datascension, Inc.  I too keep getting calls from these people and i am NOT sending them an email.  I googled this company and this is what I found...their toll free #. I called and left them a message to stop calling me maybe, if they get as many calls back that they're making, they'll get the hint! So here it is everyone 1-888-996-9238

We started getting calls from 714-551-5501 last night.  We didn't answer, as we did not recognize the number.  The caller does not leave a message.  I answered today and heard nothing but dead air.  We're on the Do Not Call list and have had pretty good luck with it until this number.  Not looking forward to the litany of calls I'm apparently expecting, according to the previous posts.

Just go a call from this number and said it was a survey.  I told them I do not do surveys and I am on the do not call list.  They proceeded to argue with me about my do not call list and said surveys were not on it.  I told them again do not call me and I don't do surveys and hung up.  The man was very rude in the conversation.

Unwanted calling at random times in evening...annoying.

Calls at all hours. No messages left.

Woke me up. Ask them how they have my number. They indicated the number was computer generated. Requested they remove me from their list.

Since I use a VoIP service, I logged into my VoIP service and I blocked this annoying number (714) 551-5501.

I dont answer phone unless i recognize number.

I emailed them after seven phone calls.
Didn't work.
Tonight, an Indian man called and began his survey. I politely asked to be removed from the call list. He hung up w/out a word.

I am looking for the proper agency to report this to.
This is surely nuisance phone calls.

Calling the number and not having an immediate opt out from that number is flat out dickriculous.

I have gotten calls every night from this company. Generally, they call when I am not home. I have sent an email requesting removal.

I know these alleged surveys are supposed to be acceptable, however, reading the list, they are abusive.
I reported them to the following agency and advise all others to flood complaints on this company and the behaviors of these callers.
Only when people begin to flood them with complaints on the unethical behaviors of these companies will they do something about these bogus survey *nuisance* calls.


Datascention should have an immediate opt out program so callers can remove their numbers.

the best thing to do is not to answer if there's no message.Unless you know the number who's calling you, don't bother.

Some woman speaking spanish called from this number. The only english word I understood was "datascention" which I think is a collection agency. Anywho, after yelling into the phone to stop calling here. She finally stopped speaking spanish and said she spoke english too. I repeated myself, telling her to stop calling here and asked her if she understood what that meant. She then hung up on me.

I am getting calls from them, too. Haven't answered them, but the entries below said it wasa survey about movies. They started calling me right after I signed up for Netflix. Sounds like they are connected, somehow.

It's all a scam. Your information will be sold to marketers if you're lucky. If you are NOT lucky, it will end up in the hands of identity thieves.

Anybodu who talks to any stranger and supplies ANY personal information or thoughts is a fool and deserves what happens.

Ask yourself "What good ever came from a total stranger asking me personal questions of the phone?"

The call center using the number 714-551-5501 claimed to be a company names Burke and was clearly, by the accent of the caller and that of people in the background, coming from India.

My plan for such callers is to say "Oh, this sounds interesting. Let me go get a pencil and paper!" Then I place the call on hold and let the caller hang until they give up. This wastes their time rather than mine, and makes them know what a pain they represent.
