no, it's not the democratic national committee, it's the datacension company.

These people have harassed us for months. Just found the "do not call list" on their web site, http://www.datascension.com/do-not-call-list. Crossing our fingers that it works this time.

NOTE: "DO NOT CALL LIST",does NOT apply to requesting a survey.
I told them I would take  their survey and that I charge $50.00 per hour with a $25.00 minimum.
He thanked me for my time and ended the call.

how are these people calling everyone, we are on the do not call list...that must be a joke too

This 'company' called me after nine p.m. on a week night and stated 'we are in California and want to ask if you watch movies".....I said 'I am not interested and am on the Do Not Call List' and I hung up.

This you MUST do: The Datascention CEO is in Las Vegas Nevada, calls are outsourced to Costa Rica - His home phone number is (702)233-6785. Please feel free to call this guy at home and let him know if you are unhappy. I called at 11:30 pm CDST and it went to machine so I think we are getting through. Good luck and quiet phones to all who have been annoyed by this company.
Oh, yes, and I found that they did not respond to the email request for removal from list.

My caller ID shows the number and their "name" 7145515502AA How cute. This is not the Democratic National Committee. I sent an e-mail to dnc@datascension.com on the off chance that they'll actually remove me. What BS that marketing survey companies are allowed to call. I couldn't care less that they wouldn't have the means to market more crap to me and mine.

Number showed up on my caller id.

CREDIT ONE is a fraudulent lending "service" out of the L.A. area. They're known telegrifters that want to lock the unwary victim into a "loan protection package"  for a low-low price of $69.95. Do not even answer this number if you know what's good for you!

I've had many annoying calls in the past. The they stopped and I thought that was the end till I started getting calls from 714-551-5502, I get at least 2 to 3 calls a day.

Got a call from these jerks this morning at work.  Caller had a mouth full of marbles and said "Gimme the person in charge of yo IT department I gots a survey for them".  The caller was told to permanently add my number to their calling list and he hung up on me.  All t he caller ID said was their number without the hyphens.  I followed the link previously posted for the Datascension DNC request, hopefully they abide by our requests otherwise it's FCC complaint time.

Thank you Frowning Man for the link.  I entered my phone no. but no name, so we'll see if it works.  I do have caller block on my phone if all else fails, but I've already used up the 20 numbers allowed on other morons!

I live in CO. Got a call from 714-551-5502 and the guy wanted to know if I speak Spanish. NO! He said ok, wrong number. 714 is a CA area code.

Get calls form this number all the time.  Did not answer, I don't answer callers I don't know. Wish the FCC would do something...ya right.

Telemarketer - Answer your phone as a Police department and they drop you like a hot potatoe.

Datascension, Inc. Reports First Quarter Financial Results

LAS VEGAS, NV – May 17, 2010 - Datascension, Inc. (OTC BB: DSEN), a global outsourcing solutions company, today announced financial results for the Company’s first quarter ended March 31, 2010.

For the quarter ended March 31, 2010, the Company recorded a net loss of ($194,723).  Total net revenues decreased to $2,702,191, from $3,773,187 a decline of $1,070,996 or approximately 28.4%.   Cost of goods sold decreased to $2,417,430 from $3,106,504, a reduction of $689,074, or approximately 22.1%, from the prior year period. For the quarter ended March 31, 2010, the Company generated earnings before income taxes, depreciation and amortization of $60,686 or 2.2%, compared to $246,473 or 6.5%, for the quarter ended March 31, 2009.  

Total selling, general and administrative expenses decreased by $63,149 or 14.4%, to $374,179 for the three months ended March 31, 2010, from $437,328 in the prior year period. The decrease in expenses is mainly due to reductions in executive salaries combined with a reduction in administrative costs.

Interest expense increased by $11,654, or 8.0%, to $157,599 for the three months ended March 31, 2010, as compared to $145,945 for the three months ended March 31, 2009.  The increase in interest expense was primarily attributable to increased borrowings over the prior year period.

Basic and diluted loss per share was ($0.01) for the quarter ended March 31, 2010, as compared to basic and diluted loss per share of $0.00 for the quarter ended March 31, 2009.  At March 31, 2010, the Company had cash and cash equivalents of $215,666.
Revenues decreased as a result of several factors including: (i) challenges associated with the continuing global economic turmoil for both Datascension and its customers; (ii)  heavy price competition within the industry resulting in longer sales cycle and/or lost opportunities; (iii) shift to heavier use of in-house call centers; (iv) increased use of more cost effective, on-line data collection rather than telephone interviews; and (v) internal initiative to eliminate business that does not meet our profitability hurdle rate.

I got the same phone number just a few minutes ago.  I wonder how we can NUKE those research
firms to oblivian since that found a loop-hole in the "do not call" list? If they want to do research, go back
to college and take a course with a Lab supplement.
