Number called and left no message. I don't know anyone in NY.

Called something about my student loan. Haven't had a loan for over 25 years!!!!! Scamming creeps!! I AM ON THE NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST! Shouldn't even be getting these calls!!!!!!!!!! We can put a man on the moon but we can't stop scammers like this!!!!!

Called my cell but my caller ID said Cindy Adams. I didn't answer and the number is now blocked.

Left a pre-recorded message for some type of 'offer' - press 1 to accept the offer, press 5 to decline the offer.

This call said I can get a reduction on my student loan.  Only thing is I don't have any student loans.  I'm left them a message and told them I was going to report them.

This number just called me, I answered and there was a message that said  something about being qualified for a student loan rate reduction of up to 40% and to press 1 to be connected. Once the person was on the line they asked for my name, instead I asked a series of questions and eventually was hung up on.
The questions I asked were:
Is this a government agency?
** Reply was: yes
Are you part of the student loan service provider?
** Reply was a jumbled answer that I could not make out
Could you repeat that?
** Reply was: same jumbled word that I could not make out
What is that?
** (hung up the phone on me)

I was not about to give out any personal information because they could be taking a chance that a majority of the population has some form of student loan debt and by calling with that pretense they will be able to hook a lot of people.
If there is something I should know about my loan, my provider will contact me and not be shady like this.

Beware of phishing scams.

Same experience as others, some random scam unsolicited caller and I'm on the Do-Not-Call list.

got a call I do not answer calls I don't know, since it said from New York, I blocked the caller

Wanted to help me consolidate student loans at a lower interest rate! No. Scam. Blocked them.

It's IDMRX dot com.   I had placed an order with them once and now they call me every so often trying to get me to re-order, but it was a one time thing I needed for my dog.  I never answer their call because I haven't forgotten how to operate the computer in case I want to order again from them.
