Except they don't take no for an answer and answering their call at all only leads to more calls from others like them.

Has called for three consecutive days.  I simply hit speakerphone twice in rapid succession, answering and disconnecting the call virtually instantly but he persists.

A woman called about 10:30 a.m. on 2/21/19 to my boss's phone number.  She said she needed to check on info regarding a free subscription.  She asked me to verify a lot of info that she had.  These were standard questions and she already had the info.  I just confirmed it. She asked many questions about my boss and the organization we work for.  Red Flag-however, she asked for my name twice.  At the end of the call, she said that, in order to verify that we had spoken, she needed the name of the city where I was born.  I said, why would I have to give that information??? I said I am not doing that and goodbye! I am sure this is a scam.  They ask many innocuous questions then try to get some personal information out of you. Why would this company need the place of my birth??? A person usually only gives that info when applying for legitimate credit, etc.

Calls my work number at least 2x per day for weeks now, no matter that each time I've asked to be removed from their list.

Has been calling several times per day for a month.  All he ever gets is a dial tone as he is connected and immediately disconnected when I hit the speakerphone twice instantaneously, yet he persists.  NO LEGITIMATE BUSINESS ENTITY would persist after never hearing so much as a hello, rather being immediately disconnected 80-100 times.

American female caller asking to update address and business information for some "free magazine" subscription.

She referred to our company by the old name from like 15+ years ago, and asked for an employee that hasnt worked here in years, even after the correct name was initially stated when answering the phone. She states, " I want to update this information so that you can continue to receive the magazine" Um if you knew or even listened to the correct business name you would know that we can not continue to receive a magazine if we've never received it to begin with. Strange people. SCAMMERS!

They keep calling no matter what you do.

I found the notes here on this number the very first time it called.  I have never done anything to this caller except tap the speakerphone button twice in rapid succession, answering and immediately disconnecting the call.  From the caller's perspective, EVERY TIME IT CALLS results in a dial-tone.  NO LEGITIMATE BUSINESS ON EARTH is going to call a number 100-200 times in the span of a few months, get absolutely nothing but a dial tone and yet persist in attempting to call that number several times per day, every single day.  It is a scam.

This IS a scam call. They did not respond at all, when I answered. But reading this, EC&M magazine is a trade magazine that does not call anyone. My office is a human services company that has nothing to do with the electrical or construction trades industry. However, since my husband does and he does receive the EC&M magazine, which we renew annually, I know that is not what this is. EC&M does not have ANY personal information on my or to connect my husband to the agency I work for nor any contact information related to it. Additionally, with so many of these calls having nobody on the other end when they answer, that indicates a scam as well. Our receptionist was not here today so I answered and said hello several times, they the line went dead.

White American female caller asking for, "First name Last name". I stated that the person wasn't available would you like to leave a message. Caller asked is there someone else that can speak on "their" behalf. I stated no and she hung up. If it was a legit call, they should have left a message and not hung on me, definitely a scammer call or a solicitation. BLOCK BLOCK

I'm the first person to Google a random number, or call out a scammer. This company is legit, though. They're calling to update info on free Trade publication subscriptions. We do in fact get (and use) the Heavy Duty Trucking magazine since we're in that industry, and I appreciated the contact info update. Our office gets duplicate copies, and the rep was able to take off all the old names, update to our new marketing director's info, and get us switched to the digital version so I don't have to throw so many print versions out each week.

This magazine named Dealerscope was asking if we wanted renew a year free subscription. After informing the woman named Danielle we are not interested, she literally called back one week later asking the same question. Hope asking to be removed from the contact list actually works this time.

Called for owner, who is never in the office, always in the field.  About subscriptions, i asked him not to call anymore and he said he will call back for the owner.  i told him we are listed on the do not call registry and he still said he would call back another time for the owner.  i just hung up

Call came in 11:06am to our office land line.  The caller ID read "Not Assigned" whatever that means.  We do not answer suspicious, out of area calls.  Their call was blocked from their first call in 2018.

These guys have called 5 times in the last two days. And that is just this week.......,Last week it was more of the same. I have tried to ask politely for them to take us off their call list, I have never taken their survey and will not give them information on the company.  And they continue to call.....They say they are looking to renew our compact equipment subscription.  This last time I told them that we no longer needed the magazine and that cancelling it is fine. and hung up. I feel badly because the person calling is just doing their job.

I told them to take us off their list and they said they would call back. They call everyday.

They said they are updating information. I told them we were not interested in receiving anything and to please take us off their list. He said he would call back and hung up. Seriously these people need to STOP calling!!! Mail out a postcard asking to update info. If you get the postcard back, then you have something to do. If not, leave people alone.
