Got a missed call from this number on my cell today. Called them back and they say it's from MAcy's and I missed last payment. I do have a Macy's account but was positive I paid my bill a few days ago and was not owing them. So, I called Macy's and they said that no one called me today( they have records of calls). This is phishing!!

I would like this number to stop calling my personal phone.

I get calls from this number and the first time there was an Indian caller. I asked his name and he said his name was Rajiv Asherian or something. I heard that many call operator outsourcing was done to India from Mexico through VoIP and use the very cheap labor to do the call service, but this Indian call center also became a problem as they started to collect identity and personal information and start selling them to other marketers.
Legitimate calls if you owe them money always leave a message with details. If they don't, they are not someone you need to care for.

Here's what I did. I called them today and let them know not to call me anymore. They said they will take my cell phone number off their list. I'll see

calls several days in a row asking for someone who had my phone number prior to me.  they keep saying they will update their records, but call again.

I have never owned a Macy's or Bloomingdales account. I have never even shopped there yet I get calls all day long from this number. Once I spoke to a person with a heavy Indian accent and she told me if MCCS was calling me then I owed Macy's money. I kept telling her I did not have an account and I wanted the calls stopped. She said the calls could not be stopped because I owed money - she did not even know who I was. I just hung up because I think this is a phishing scam from a foreign country. I never answer the phone anymore when they call and they never leave a message. I think if they were a real company they would be leaving messages.

Get calls about three times a day from this number. I do have a Macy's account but it is current, and it always has been. I have answered once but they didn't ans, so now i fwd them to vm, they nvr leave msgs. This company has to be fraudulent. I will file a complaint w/bbb of clearwate,fl asap.

What gets me is there's an automated message saying "we have an important message for you but all our operators are busy,  Please stay on the line."  yeah, right.. not so much.   what's even worse is I just got this current number and EVERY single call I have been getting have been debt collectors.

Also got calls from this number on my cell phone.  Only family & friends have this number, which I've had for 6-7 years.  I don't have a Macy's or Bloomingdale's account.  Called back and asked what information they had for my # and it was another woman's name.  I was told my # would be removed from their database.  Hope that's true....

So if you're puzzled about why you would be getting calls, it's a good idea to call.  Just don't give them info (they wanted my husband's name since he has a Macy's card) and insist that they look up your info using the phone #.

Will not stop calling 2 or 3 times a day.  Asking for a strange name.  Have requested that they cease calling on multiple occassions but calls continue.

Constant calling from 727-556-5772 identified on my Caller ID as MCCS.  They call at least 3 to 5 times a day.  They don't care what time they call and they call even on the weekends.

I do have an account with Macy's and once I answered the phone when I was 2 months in the rears and they tried to convince me to pay my bill through them.  I refused!

I am starting to get these calls also.  I get them around 8:00 am and in the evening.  I don't answer them.  I do have a Macy's card....love it....am not late on payments so there is no reason for the calls.  The only other thought is that it might be a call from the EsterLauder sales people telling about a promotional BUT they always identify themselves and leave a message.  I do not intend to answer any of these calls, in fact, I do not intend to answer any calls before 9:00 am or in the evening!

This number has called my home three times today. Every time they do, it triggers an email from my phone provider with a .wav file of the call...only since they don't leave a message, it's just 30 seconds of static. I had a Macy's card long ago, but it's probably been over 10 years since I've used it.

However, we've been getting lawyer letters addressed to the previous occupant of our house (I just stick them back in the mail) and I'm wondering if they did a reverse look up?

3 calls from 727-556-5772 today, the last one at 9:02 pm. Isn't 9 pm the cutoff for telemarketers?

Again----they call several times throughout the day and when answered a recording says we have a very important message-----but the message never came.  It shows on my caller ID as MCCS.

guys, this number is fake. i was surprised because they knew my name but ,.. this number is definitley  scam. They called me 15 times in one day hung up several times and did not leave a message. the last time they called this women came on the phone and had a deep accent. after i started stressing her, she began to stutter and hung up.

this number has been calling 5 times a day for the last month. I just didnt bother answering because I didnt know who it was. I have no macy's account but if this is how they are ...I will never open an account there

Just got home from vacation for a week.  Went through call log - MCCS has called 30 times, counted them - 30 times while I was gone.  Won't leave a message.  Annoying!!  I will be closing my account with Macy's if that's who it is.....

I did enough research to claim this is a scam for sure.
