My wife misplaced a Macy's bill, so we were late paying Macy's by 5-6 days.    Check has been sent.  

As soon as  our  Macy's account is $0.00, we will cancel our account.  Sad.

We received 3-4 phone calls every day  from someone with the Indian accent... the phone # is 727-556-5772.    Our bill was a day or two late getting to them; otherwise we have had a perfect payment record.   I wrote Macy's fraud department, and let them have it.  My wife called Macy's and told them we will be closing our account.  The next day the phone calls stopped.  There is NO question that the phone number is associated with Macy's.  They won't have our business, and  I will others know about their business practices.. Absolutely disgraceful.

CALL HERE TO COMPLAIN!

I have received numerous calls over the past months all calling to dun my wife on large outstanding amounts on either her Macy's or Bloomingdale's cards.  Yet, the address of record for the cards MCCS is calling about is in Rhode Island and our telephone number clearly is not.  We have wasted nearly hours with Indian and Filipino call center employees attempting to explain that we are not who they want.  Every time they have claimed they will remove our number from their data base but we keep getting calls.

I am getting the same 727 number and it comes up MCCS...up to 5 times a day. I do not have a macys card nor any credit cards from anyone.I called my phone company and reported the number. they said theres nothing I can do,i told them i am on do not call list for a reason which is to enjoy my phone.I spoke with a foreign lady the first time they called and told her I do not have a card, please stop calling,yet they persist.So now I just dont answer them on caller ID.It shouldnt be like this,I pay for my phone service.Guess Ill have to learn their language for the word "no" and "stop calling".

It will not effect at all. We put call on mute and start eating at that time. LOL

I am a employee of HCL Technologies, we make 30,000 calls in a day. These calls are dialed by the computer and not by humans. Humans answer the calls. If you do not recieve the call , computer dials again and again.

We often recieve complaints from people regarding several calls in a day. Thats because of the software.

I keep getting phone calls from MCCS (727-556-7300) multiple times a day and I never pick up. It gets so iiritating that everytime they call I just press the on and off button at the same time just so the phone can stop ringing..and my number has been on the do not call list for years.

They are real.

They are Macy's/Bloomingdales, they have a call center in India, Florida and Ohio so you may see many numbers on the caller ID.  They are calling about debt owed on Macy's or Bloomingdales cards.  They call many times during the day until they get someone.  They also legally can not leave a message stating you have a debt, so don't be mad at the poor rep for not doing so.  

Also if you have a family member who has a card, they might have given your number as a point of contact.  If you are polite and verify with them that the number is incorrect they will remove it.  Just be patient and don't hang up.  

Keep in mind the people on the other line have a hard job collecting credit card debt.  They are not phishing and if you ask they can verify they are Macy's by telling you your last purchases on the card.  

Also one last hint, some states do not legally allow them to talk to the spouse so don't get angry when they say they can't let you know what the call is about.  However if you ask what company they are from, they can answer the name.   If you want your husband or wife to speak to them you have to give them verbal permission.  

So bottom line is remember they have to work within some very tight laws so be gentle and they will usually be able to find out some solution.  I hope this helps!  This is from experience!

They are RELENTESS, calling all day long. There is NEVER anyone on the line when I say "hello". Can't get through when I return the call. This needs to stop immediately. Its harrassment.

THIS # 727-556-7300 IS TRULY A SCAM.  I HAVE A MACY'S CHARGE AND IT HAS NEVER BEEN LATE.  I JUST RECEIVED A CALL SAYING THAT I WAS LATE ON MY FEB. PAYMENT AND THEY WANTED TO SEE IF I WANTED TO MAKE PAYMENT OVER THE PHONE.  I LET THEM HAVE IT AND TOLD THEM NEVER TO CALL MY # AGAIN.  MACY'S DOES NOT CALL IF YOU ARE LATE ON PAYMENTS, THEY JUST CHARGE A LATE FEE.  I AM CALLING MACYS AND REPORTING THIS.  IT IS TRULY CRAZY THE LENGHTS THAT SCAMMERS WILL GO TO TRY TO GET YOU.  PLEASE BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!!

This is truly a scam they called me (7275567300) and some indian sonding guy was trynna force me to pay an outstanding bill over the phone with him the so called macys collection agency.....lame o

Here it is, three years later (July 2011) and my stiory is the same as yours.  Weveral times a day - over and over and over - I feel like I hate to think I have to disconnect my telephone aftyer all these years!

calls from MCCS - this stuff is getting out of hand....

This harassment is from a company associated with MACY's. They call, apparently after being late by one payment. The best option is to call MACYs directly and cancel your Macy's Star Reward (sic) card and never shop at Macy's again. A company that engages in such practices is not worthy of your business. We cancelled our MACY's card, and we ceased shopping at MACY. Show MACY that you will not tolerate their harassment.

Macy's has off shore call center in India and the phillipines. (sp) yeah they are attempting to collect on a debt. If you don't like the calls don't buy stuff you can't afford or pay off. You people with credit cards piss me off. thank the heavens so many are deadbeats that think they can charge up the card for merch. and get it for free. Keeps me getting a paycheck. Next time you [***] about the price of stuff think about how you don't pay for what you got! Retailers gave you stuff in 'good faith' you [***] would pay for it and when you don't people like me end up paying for it because we actually pay our bills.

just got a call from them and I am subscribed to a credit repair agency that is supposed to be paying this from the money taken out of my bsnk sccount monthly. I also get 20 calls a day 7 days a week from them and sears. Isn't there anything that can be done since they are getting paid?
