- JFT| 4 repliesMy company keeps getting calls too. They are for some bill that they cannot provide any proof that we owe. I have asked for backup information over and over and over and they have yet to provide any.
Me thinks they are scamming.
Beware before paying anything to this company.
I am going to file an FTC complaint with every call I get from them- Caller: Weinstock & O'Malley

- David Wisniewski, Esq.| 1 replyI'm not surprised. They threatened a Pennsylvania client of our with a PA law suit, even though none of the attorneys there have a PA license. The client pre-paid a shipping company $452 to ship a copier. The shipping company subcontracted the job to Overnight, who then turned around and claimed that they were owed almost $5k in shipping!! Overnight couldn't produce any documents to support any of their contentions and lost huge.
The letter that Stephen O'Malley sent to our client was threatening, demeaning and very unprofessional.

- West Michigan| 3 repliesHave received calls from Jesse Niven from Weinstock & O'Malley.
Initially took messages for my boss. Got curious about what it was all about and came here.
Of the mind it's a scam, as our Fed-Ex accounts aren't overdue for anything (perfect standing!).
Told him off (to stop calling with his scam) and got him so very mad.
Hopefully he googles his name and gets a real job.
If he calls again, we'll demand documentation of his [***].- Caller: Weinstock & O'Malley

- Upset Business Owner| 6 repliesOur company keeps getting calls from a very rude, sarcastic individual by the name of Peter Dee from Weinstock & O'Malley. The voice messages he leaves border on threatening and I have emailed him several times that I will only communicate with him via email so the facts are in writing and not verbal. He will not do that and each time he calls back with a voice message he gets nastier. This is a debt we have been paying directly to a company that he's trying to collect for and keeps telling me the company will not acknowledge our payments yet they have cashed every check we've sent them. I refuse to talk to him directly and as I've said I've told him he must contact me via email but he refuses to do that and his tone on his voice mails gets nastier each time. I'm about to call Chris Christie to let him know how businesses are operating in his state. It wouldn't make him proud.

- Elspeth replies to Upset Business OwnerIf he won't prove you owe the debt to him in writing, he's nothing but a scammer. Tell him every time he calls that you are recording the calls to give to your attorney for harassment.
- DMWhenever you tell one of these companies to continue and go through legal channels they are often left with no recourse but to get more aggressive and what little attempt they make at trying to be professional completely goes away. Jessie Niven was actually fun to poke at during the call. I laughed at one point as he was trying to threaten our company with legal action and didn't have any dates or information to back up his claim. I doubt he is an attorney - looks like a good old fashioned "bottom feeder". Scrambling for whatever change he can pick up . Don't let this person intimidate you. Ask him for details and confirmation. There are none.

- Melissa replies to Upset Business Owner| 1 replyI received a call from Peter Dee as well. Stated that we were going to go to trial for our past due account with FedEx. Yes we have a past due account but were making payments when we could. FedEx never sent us any letters saying that they were going to take us to court. I never received anything from this law firm that they were going to take us to court but I decided to make a 500 a week payment just to shut them up. Called fedex our payments are not being made and I requested that our money come back so that I can pay fedex. They then said that they would file for us to go to court. They have committed fraud and stole over 1500.00 from my company. Called NJPD I am not the only ones they have scammed money out of.
