- NaCalls every day. Caller I'd says discount center,
- Caller: Discount centr
- BusinessCalled 5 times this week alone! No one on other end.
- Caller: "Discount Center"
- surveymangot an automated calll from this number, saying that gas and electric deregulation is entitling me to a reduced rate. Guy then comes on the line immediately and asks for an account number, then hung up.
- Caller: Vonage
- Xx| 1 replyThis number DOES NOT belong to Vonage
- 7329072112 replies to XxI get calls from this number also. I finally did something I never do. I called this number from and unregistered prepaid cell phone (the phone was paid for in cash, and all time cards were purchased for cash. If they want to do a trace, all they can find out is where the phone was purchased and where the time cards were purchased). When I called this number there was dead silence (no dial tone, no message, NOTHING). It looks like I have another customer for BLOCK CITY.
- Nostril hair"This call in reference to your Electric Bill with PSE&G." They are relentless, and even after telling you to hit a button to opt-out, THEY STILL CALL!
- Caller: Discount Center
- Call type: Telemarketer

I get a call from this number every day, they call 4 and 5 times a day, I called the number and asked that I be taken off their list, I still get the calls, I blocked the number and I still get the calls, I want them to STOP- Caller: VONAGE
- Cindy From Asbury Park| 1 replyJust received a call from 732-907-2112 and my caller ID read "Children's Cancer". I found this disturbing after reading the posts on this site.
- Caller: Children's Cancer??
- RobocallhaterClearly, this is a scam. People have reported the call as coming from Vonage, but the caller ID now says "Childrens Cancer". Don't pick up any calls from unknown numbers. If the company is legit, they will leave a message, and the number can be verified by going to the official site of the organization.
- Bubba| 1 replyThey rang my phone at 7:47 am, caller I.d says children's cancer, just another of the 15 or so scumbag telemarketers we get a week, I am on the do not call list, it's a sad joke.
- Caller: Children's cancer
- Call type: Telemarketer
- seth replies to BubbaBubba, charities are exempt from the DNC. The sad joke is that many will complain about the dnc but won't go to the DNC Registry site and read about it, how it works, who is and who is not exempt...Learn what the prime purpose of the dnc is and why it was established. It can help you to understand why all of those millions of American companies who could, but are NOT calling you because they are honoring the DNC. You should consider Opting out of the DNC and purchasing a call blocker.
- milo replies to MikeOnce you establish a business relationship with a company, they may continue calling you for 18 months after last payment of your service, or three months after you make any inquiry or application about their product. This happened to me with Omaha Steaks and my newspaper. To their credit, the calls did stop after 18 months. Nevertheless, 18 months was still a long time to put up with their pitch for a product that I no longer wanted. I have since heard that if you specifically tell past vendors that you no longer want their calls, they are obligated to stop. I do not know how well this works sine I was not aware of this at the time.
Sleazy telemarketers that do not play by the rules are a whole different story... and there are plenty of these out there too. Wish I could get my hands on them. - TDThe caller claims to be soliciting money for children's cancer research. Don't give your credit card info to anyone who calls you. Even it it was legitimate (unlikely) how much of your donation do you think would go the 'charity'?
- Call type: Telemarketer
- E.M.FYI. This number came out on caller id as Childrens Cancer. Obviously there not. Never picked up.
- DilipPlease take out my # 732 780-5686 from caller list

- Caller: Children's Cancer
- Call type: Telemarketer
- SylviaThey said they were from a cancer society and they want me to send money, some how they have my address, they identify as children's cancer society...
- Caller: Children's cancer society
- Call type: Non-profit organization
- Dan HollisThis number called me in Bergen County, NJ, just before 10 this morning. I picked it up late and got only a dial tone. It had the "Children's Cancer" (or as many characters in this as possible) identification. I already refuse to donate to unsolicited telephone charities, but I'm astounded by the history of this number as reported here.
- Caller: CHILDRENS CANCE
- WCI received a call from this # today. I let it go to voicemail (no message was left) Called ID was "Childrens Cancer"
- NewsFlashNEWS FLASH: It's not actually VONAGE that is calling. The phone number is 'spoofed' and appears to be a VONAGE #... because that's what displays on your Caller ID -- but it isn't actually VONAGE.
If you want to sign-up or renew their phone service, YOU call them ... NOT the other way around. Call their legitimate customer-service line. If they solicit you -- BEWARE. You do not really know who is on the other end of the phone. Do not assume.
You cannot tell by the number on your Caller ID display anymore -- sorry, those days are gone.
These phone-spoofing scam-rings of criminals are growing everyday. This way, they get your personal information (the easy way) under the guise of a 'safe' business transaction because a certain percentage of people do sign up, albeit a small percentage. But then, they have personal information which is all they're really looking for. They can sell it OR use it for identity theft -- or do both.
When they call "potential customers" they think it's actually VONAGE and that they've just signed up for their service when that's not always true and their information may be used by these phone spoofing criminals for illegal purposes.
Nowadays, about 10% of the phone numbers on your Caller ID phone display ARE NOT the actual number of the caller -- so they cannot possibly ever be traced.
Spoofing phone numbers is easy -- if they have the App or the Software all they have to do is enter the number of their choice into their phone and it displays on the receivers Caller ID.
Spoofing should be illegal, but it's not.
DO NOT assume any number on your Caller ID display is the number of the caller.
A few months ago while I was out shopping, and no one was home, my (land-line) phone number appeared on my neighbors Caller ID display. So she answered the call thinking it was me. But, it was an unethical, unscrupulous collection agency that had been hounding her for years over a debt she doesn't owe.
She was shocked that I wasn't on the other end of the phone. I wasn't even home to have called her, but my (land-line) number appeared on her Caller ID phone display ... just one "spoofing" example of many.
