- FlyJust got a call from this number. Put it on ignore since I didn't recognize the number. Glad I didn't pick up,would've been a waste of my time. Putting number on my contact list with the rest of the telemarketers numbers that will go straight to voicemail.

- UNKNOWN| 1 replyDebt collectors have found a way to keep calling peoples on the national donot call registry, by their phoney Market Strategies and Research Center companies in Michigan. I don't answer my landline phone, I keep the ringer turn off and use my cellular phone. I only need my land line if the power goes out. It is my understanding that if you ask anyone not to call you again and they continue to call, you can sue them for harassment.

- Resident47 replies to UNKNOWNAs they are not telemarketers, debt collectors do not need to "find a way" to call a DNC-registered number. That said, a collection agency violates the FDCPA when it claims or appears to be an entity other than itself.
If you're feeling litigious against either a surveyor or debt collector, you'll have to prove your "shut up" demands were received. Verbal orders won't get you far. USPS Certified with return card will be hard to deny. - stormjust noticed on the caller id a boat load of calls from this company....when you try to call them back its a prerecorded bunch of mumbo jumbo....which tells you go to their website which is a total front....cause every link you click on doesnt work......you get message internet explorer can not display the page...you run the connection trouble shooter and it says the problem is on their end........its just a total way to keep you from finding out about them and blocking them....by the way how late can these clowns call i notice all calls seem to come between 3pm and 9pm

- sofiaDO NOT CALL !!!
- retired66I did get 2 calls from this number within 15 minutes of the first. I am just wondering if it has something to do with the American Community Survey from the Census Bureau demanding that you answer the most invasive and intrusive questions like how much is your income for the year-your totalnot estimated, your mental status, have you been pregnant in the last year, total payments for gas and electricity for the last 12 montha-not estimated, how many cars you own, did you sell property in the last year, how much is your mortgage payments, do you have a second mortgage on your home, and the list goes on and on in a 28 page booklet. The most defiling thing is that it was made mandatory by our congress with a fine of $100.00 - $5,000.00 for not completing it. That tells you what our elected officials think of its citizens. It has been around sinc 2000.

- BelenusThey called me Sunday afternoon. I thought they weren't supposed to call on Sundays? I have caller I.D. and see their number on T.V. and have no intention on answering. So instead of wasting their time with me they should go hunt their prey elsewhere.

- KCTired of all the calls. Contacted the FTC at FTC.Gov Spoke to someone who will take the bogus numbers and they have many cases against robo callers. This one even with a cheap website is probably a scam to get additional information from you. The site then collects your name and number when you request a no call. FTC website says Dont answer the phone if you do dont hit the prompts just hang up and make a complaint or log the calls and give them at the same time. Either way complain, write congresman, and if you have the time screw with the callers. The do not call list doesnt matter because most of these are illegal so why should they care about a no call list. This number will not leave a message and if you block and call back they give you a recording to direct you to a website to leave your information. A scam for sure.

- RandomPhoneNumber replies to DWMost of these companies are so unprofessional and not too far removed from the lot of thieves. DW got it
right. The "remove from list" option is used by many to simply get more verified information,....or at least
to confirm your phone number. Most of their "business" is scamming like "free" gift certificates, so do you
think they'll respect a "DO NOT CALL!" list? The best action is to never answer and if they happen to get
you on the phone, hang up without saying or buying anything. - PorkchopThe DNC is a government program that is nothing more than gives the phone subscriber a false sense of privacy.

- loveslinux replies to Avidguy.aspx says it all. Any company that uses Microsucks as a business platform . . . well, sucks. LOL!!
To get off their list I have to provide my name and email in addition to my phone? Absolutely NOT!! When I get these calls, I answer and immediately hang up. Takes two seconds. - Katrin replies to BrendaThanks for the tip.
- Both Barrels Blazing replies to Patricia KelleyYou telemarketer [***] want to disturb me? Go ahead! I'll play along with your scheme as long as it takes. I'll waste your time, believe me that's a prime joy! You have NO right burning up my telephone's ringer day in and day out. Even on Sunday's, the only day I have to myself I got slammed by you [***]'s who are ALL con-artists. I'm no fool. I know all about your cheap, sleazy, tactics of trying to extort case sensative information from some ignorant sap who'll fall into your web's of deciet. You want to defend your merry ways with your little headset on just hoping some [***] will answer you. Bingo! You got the information you where phishing for! Oh, in full glory you've got someone's checking account number, perhaps credit card numbers, and, the crowning glory, you've just sukcered someone into giving you their social security number! Aren't you happy! Hip, hip horray! You telemarketer's are ALL frauds. Most people aren't cretins, therefore they don't buy into telemarketer's [***]. However, all it takes is one dullard to pick up their phone and believe the [***] they're being slung at them! There goes their identity! Bye, bye!!!
- DaveI taken the survy and they the survy taker was real nice. However they keep calling me back more than ever and I get more calls from other tellemarketer now. this is sad since I thought they would be nice to end the calls when I taked the survy and promised be a gift certifacte worth 100 dollars.
- LittleBitI typed in the ph # into my search & came across Market Strategies so I went to their home pg. There is a option to remove your name from their calling list but it asks for your first & last name, email addy & ph #. I entered my name as Jon Doe w/a email addy of noneofyourbusiness@email.com I did however enter my correct home ph # which is the number they keep calling. Supposedly my request was received & it will take up to 3business days for my request to take effect..time will tell. It had a spot for comments also so I told them that after a little research (reading the comments of others on 800notes) I am not the only 1 having my ph blown up w/unwanted calls from their company. Stated that I WILL NOT provide them w/the info they requested only my ph # since they obviously have that already. I asked them to remove my # IMMEDIATELY.. my luck since I was a tad bit rude w/my msg they'll call 5x as much :( I'll come bk & post another comment as to whether or not they actually listened..I guess according to them "in 3business days"...keeping my fingers crossed til then

- JackHere is how I handle survey callers - whether legitimate or a scam:
Caller: I am conducting a survey about.....
Me: Who are you and why are you calling?
Caller: I am conducting a survey....
Me: (cutting them off) I did not ask you why you are calling. I asked who are you and what company you are calling from?
Caller: As I said, I am conducting a survey....
Me: (cutting them off) Is this a compensated survey?
Caller: (bewildered) Excuse me?
Me: I said Is this a compensated survey? I am going to be paid for my time?
Caller: Um, well no.
Me. Then go F*** yourself! and hand up. (and if you are not the type to scream obscenities, then just tell them you do not answer surveys unless you are paid).
They rarely call back. Try this. It works every time!- Caller: Scammer Surveys

- DNC-EverSeveral calls from this company and others like it. This one was particularly annoying as even after a few minutes no one was there. At least they have a remove page-but I agree with others it seems to give them a ton of new information just to remove you.
Because of the dead-air and frequency I also filed the following complaint with the fcc. Even with the loophole they are still held to abandoned calls and time-restrictions.
FCC: Is there anyone there?
Re: 734-542-7758, 734-542-7600 who knows how many others.
This company and it's affiliates keep calling. They use auto-dialers and often there is no one one the line. This call I waited over 2 minutes-dead air.
I am sick of this loophole and the FCC doesn't do ANYTHING even to the obvious marketers. If I don't want to buy their crap-why would I want to give them information to help them market their crap??!! These companies are NOT legit. Do not call MEANS DO NOT CALL!!! Do you get it yet??- Caller: Market Strategies
