Didn't take the call.

I got 3 calls in 3 days with no messages. I looked at their website and you can enter just your phone number and check the box to remove your phone number without entering the rest of the info. Hopefully it works!

These people have been calling late at night.

Somebody needs to take some action.

The very first thing I asked when they started a pitch was "Wait.   Hold on.  At any time in this phone call, are you going to ask me for money?"  The caller began talking around this question, avoiding it. I stopped them by saying "Wait!  Stop and listen to this question, and then answer it simply and directly with a yes or a no.  Are you at any point in this phone call going to ask me for money?"  They said "No, we just want your opinion on some marketing questions."  I replied "Call back later, I'm busy."   They asked when to call back, and I said "Call back in April, 2028."   I hung up.  I know I was unresonable, but I'm so damn tired of telemarketers and unsolicited calls of this type, I don't care what I say to them anymore.

Caller from 734-542-7758 ID "Marketing Strategi" called at 8:40pm (ID most likely truncated from phone display). I didn't answer as to not give them anything that might fuel their existence. I'm already on the do not call list but according to another post here, it does not apply to them.

I'd like to see a weekly TV show with various forms of execution of telemarketers. If it were a pay channel, I'd fork out the cash.

Called again twice today, but every time they call they are greeted by my InteceptorID. And so the saga continues...

I received few calls from the mentioned company. The third time I answered the call and O was told that they were doing a consumer research for University of Michigan. As they claim, the main purpose is collecting information for the consumer index that is used by the Federal Government.
I decided to participate and then got a long story but with two questions which banks do have a checking and/ or saving account with? The question implied that I will be asked about my satisfaction with the bank. After I gave the names I was told thank you and that will do it.
Could this happen because the Banks are so small in a small town? or is it because they are not some of their clients?
I do not know but I hope it not what I think it is? The problem is that I did this search after the strange call and participation.
Anyway, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

I received a call from this company tonight.  I would suggest that anyone on the national registry file a complaint.  I filed a complaint at https://www.donotcall.gov/

This was a survey about Allstste Insurance,

The office received a call from "Karen Smith" of "MSI Research" on 12/6/07 wanting to do a "Survey" and "speak with the person who knows the most about the PGE (electric company for the area) service and could answer some questions."  A receptionist answered, put the caller on hold to be passed to me, and when I answered, the lady said she just had "a few questions to ask for a survey, and nothing more," then asked if I was with xxxxxxxxx Inc. (a company that recently moved a store out of the city).  When I said no, they immediately said they were "sorry for dialing the wrong number" and hung up before anything else could be said.  During the call, there were background sounds that sounded like a phone center might, with others talking.... I dialed *69 and the recording gave me (734) 542-7758 as the number that had called.

I wonder if they are just verifying active phone numbers to build a list to sell to others?  

It does not make sense that someone would call for an electrical service survey and not want to speak to the person, no matter what company name I am with, if it is just to find out questions about the electrical service... It also does not make sense that the prior postings show as soon as they answered, the caller hung up (although this time "Karen Smith" stayed on hold momentarily to talk to me).  

I certainly would not want to go to their web site and give any information to them.  There is a market for selling phone number lists to telemarketers or any other company that does "cold calls" to establish a business clientele....

Called three times yesterday, once today, answered today/ They said they were from Michigan Univ and were conducting a survey on products or something. I said not interested, they said when can we call back, I said never. And I also asked to be removed from their list. They never left any voicemails. I'm on the Do-Not-Call list, so this could be considered a violation right?

got a call from this number at 830pm, they wanted to speck to the had male of the household, so in the rudest way possiable i snapped that there was no head male of the household and hung up. googled the number and put on the do not call, also left a message for them to tell the power company that asked them to call that callin after 730pm in some houses was unacceptable.

They call every day and hang up on my machine.  I get a nice "your call did not go through" message with that high-pitched tone for a message.  Gee, that's fun.  I was thinking of playing that message back to them when I call and leave a voicemail for them back (Like JimBoston suggests, let's clog Smith's voicemail)  I'll go to their site and just put my work # in to see if they begin calling there.  Would not surprise me if completing their "remove me" request was really a scam to get active phone numbers.  Bet they outsource their help as well and relay it from a US number, too.

Got these calls and answered the phone.  A man with a heavy accent said they were doing something for Medicare.  I am not on Medicare and told him I didn't want to answer his questions.  These people are so annoying.  They keep calling and calling.  If he calls back, I am going to complain.  This company does have a web site with some impressive information but, hey, anybody can say anything on a web site.  Frankly, I do not think this was a legitimate call.
