When I see a caller with the name E RESEARCH for the second time in 12 hours, I simply press the green button, then the red "hang up" button.  After reading the legitimate comments about this number, I simply blocked the number.

Don’t answer calls from numbers that I don’t know ever

It is a scam....contacted the FTC!

Recorded msg. Said something about my social security number has been stolen. And being used in the state of Texas. To call the 800 phone number right away with a reference number.
1) never stated my name, nor any form of verification.
2) never said my social security number in question of being stolen. So the recording had no clue who zI was..,

Caller ID came up as E RESEARCH.  Never heard of 'em.  Didn't leave me any message.

A male with British accent wanted to know our company's electricity usage. I googled and found

can't tell if his call was legit as his phone number's area code includes Ann Arbor.

Someone at this number called my landline phone. The Caller ID read "E Research", but I don't know that company or anyone else in Michigan. I didn't answer, and the caller didn't leave a message.

Called stating they are from local power company that wanted to ask questions regarding power usage. They arent even in the state we are in. We have been getting spam calls from companies using our power companies recording and stating the business power will be disconnected within the next 30 min due to non payment. I pay the bills so I know this is bogus. Now kinds weird we are getting a call asking specifically for me by name asking to complete a survey of power usage.

Caller ID came up as E RESEARCH. Called twice in the last few days, no message left, now blocked!

NO ONE SPOKE.

Supposedly some electric company research survey. Pure 100% BS. S*C*A*M !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Phone rang and as usual no message left. Amazing that there is 17 pages of calls from these buffoons. Hey Verizon this caller needs to be marked as spam. My new call blocker can accept up to 800 numbers so I added the area code 734 to my block list.
