They called and said they were from our local Power Co. and our power was going to be turned off that day, if we didn't send them cash by either downloading their app or by going to a CVS and purchase a gift card (under the specific # they gave us to use).  We asked them to provide us with our Company's Account # or to inform us of the usage date on the bill.  We had paid our bill and had a copy of our deposited check from our bank statement.  They were very rude when we said we didn't owe them any money, and when we told them we were on to them and that they were scammers, they hung up abruptly.  They have called twice today.  We just tell them we know they are scammers, and they hang up.....but they still call back.

The young man claimed he was from FPL and doing a survey and then asked me to verify that this was the residence of (my husbands' name) I did not give any info, refused the survey, and hung up. Then I called FPL and reported it.

Demont Lewis?! (what it sounded like) calling with Escalent, wanting to talk to people in charge of something to do with electricity. I already wasn't really listening by that point. I did make a point of having him spell the business name... suspected it was a scam and wanted to have the name right on here :) Put him on hold for a while, (so i could check this :D) picked back up, told him everyone was too busy to pick up and to please take our names off their list. next time they call (if a next time) I won't be so polite. He said he'd 'make a note of that'... we'll see.

Call two to three times a day. Claiming to be apart of a research group conducting a service on behalf of BGE. I put them on hold and they drop off within 30 seconds or less. Not legit whatsoever.

Got an unsolicited call from E RESEARCH don't recognize name or number suspect scamming.

Repeat calls. ID shows E Research. Male voice mumbles. Sounds 'foreign'. SCAM

Called and left no message

I just received a call from the clowns at E Research,  it must have been from the mime performers as they left no message. Then again it could have been some bozos spoofing a phone number. Needless to say I now have the name E Research blocked. Under the call type below there is no option for numb nut so I picked spam.

Still you did not pick that option so why are you spamming threads with that statement?
