Left harassing messages, threatened legal action if call not returned immediately

GOT A CALL JUST NOW FROM THIS NUMBER - THEY LEFT NO MESSAGE.....CREEPS

They called a short while ago after another had called me four times every couple hours.  My phone showed the number and Virginia.  I didn't answer.  I don't owe any one anything and I'm sick of them using my cell phone minutes.  They must be stopped .  I have better ways to use my valuable time than answering "phony" calls.  My minutes are for emergency only.  They don't fit into that catagory.

They buy all sorts of debt, not just the expired type. But whether expired or not, they are slimeballs. And very profitable ones at that.

They call from all over the usa using different phn #. They never know anything except......what is your credit card #.  I Refuse 2 speak with them....they r exhausting.  Infor them all my.financial matters are protected by LIFELOCK, THEY HUNG UP!!!

Sounds like scammers are now spoofing that company's phone numbers.

The company needs to pester its favorite legislators to go after the phone companies to control the spoofing, as it harms their ability to conduct their business, initially. But we are the customers of the phone companies, and we need help. The people the debt collecting companies call are NOT their own customers.

It's interesting when the interests of two businesses collide in the legislative chambers, but for now it's the average American that is being harmed by all of these scam calls.

Another unwanted number.  Checked and looks like a collection call or telemarketer.  I am on the no call list.  Why do I get these?

Keeps calling. No message.

Keep calling me with different #. When I answer they give me vague information.

Got a call from this number @ 2:27pm, 29 May 15, another hangup/ no message left these scumbag need a class action lawsuit to break this crap up for good and to bankrupt their CEO and all the wheels, along with prison time with Bubba the Rump rider!!!

They keep calling my phone number after 7 pm, never leave a message.

First, they are trying to collect on OUTDATED AND UNCOLLECTABLE debt, but they have a trick and everyone needs to be aware............

You you agree the debt is yours, the collection clock starts over......SO NEVER say anything to these scum bag a holes and simply block their number.

Know your right, fight back!  We are going to put them as call type "prank call" because they are not acting within the law and should not be called a collection company.

***A company must be licensed in their state as well as the one they are trying to collect in if two different states are involved.

Some Tips:
*Keep all messages
*Take a picture of your Caller ID
*Keep any and all conversations recorded to your states recording laws, some require they be told, others do not. This can be transferred to a recording device.
*Keep a notebook handy for writing time,date, who you spoke with and what the conversation detailed.
*Check your SOL for your state as well.
*Attorneys need to be licensed as a DC to collect, all DC's must be licensed in their state as well as yours if different.

I was told that you can only sue them if they call your cell #.  They have called me; landline and cell, probably a thousand times in the last 2 or 3 years!!!  They are idiots!!
