i got the same call saying the samething man them pepole need to stop

Read back my SS# and then told me the Sheriffs would be at my door in the morning.  So now I am making brownies for when they show up

they called me at work today was busy so didnt get to speak with them  googled number and found all ur comments  tyvm  they got me for almost 800 dollars already

This is a scam.   Tell him to call his lawyer or give them his lawyer number and tell them to talk them.  You can also them by law to stop calling you, your job, and/or family members.   Only contact me by mail.  If not you can SUE them.   Alway get the name of the company and GOOGLE THE COMPANY.
Google is a wonderful thing.    I BLOCK them number on my phone.  If It same Arabic people, tell you want to speak an AMERICAN.  Fight fire with fire.

I just received the same call on a Saturday morning @ 8 AM. I have bee trying to call the number back but with no response

I called 760-269-4176 and said "take my name and number off your call list, I know it is a scam." They hung up on me. Let's all keep calling back the number and report. United we can stand against these buggers! They ruin people's lives.....

Same thing....I live in southwest MO and recieved a number from Sudden Link that was the number of a person this group is after.  These people are nuts....first they are from Utah....then, CA....they do hang up.  This is intimidation at it's worst...I am calling MO Attourney General's office, Monday.   Good Luck, all....

I got a scam phone call from a middle eastern man stating that I or my attorney need to call or something would unfold on me. I tried to call back 760-269-4176 and the number was busy. I called at least ten times. Then I was sitting at the computer and my phone rang with a number of 800-663-0158. It was the same midddle eastern man that called himself Justin John offering me a lone up to 5000.00?????? I told hin I was going to report the threating message he had left on my phone. 5/19/12 10:00AM CST

MAN WITH HEAVY ACCENT CALLED SAT. AM....SAID THAT THERE HAVE BEEN CRIMINAL CHARGES FILED AGAINST ME....I ASKED WHERE HE WAS CALLING FROM AND HE TOLD ME TO KEEP MY MOUTH SHUT AND LISTEN OR HE WILL SHUT IT FOR ME.....AFTER YEARS OF BEING A DEBT COLLECTOR MYSELF I REALIZED WHAT THIS CALL WAS ALL ABOUT...I LET HIM THREATEN ME WITH LEGAL RAMIFICATIONS.....WHEN HE FINALLY FINISHED I TOLD HIM HE WAS RECORDED AND I AM FILING AN ATTORNEY GENERAL COMPLAINT....HE QUICKLY HUNG UP....I AM NOW IN THE PROCESS OF FILING A COMPLAINT.....

AFTER YEARS IN COLLECTIONS MYSELF I RECOGNIZED THIS KIND OF CALL.....MAN ID SELF AS AN ATTORNEY THINK HE SAID HIS NAME WAS MICHAEL CUTLER SAID THERE HAVE  BEEN CRIMINAL CHARGES FILED AGAINST ME....I LET HIM GO ON TO THREATEN ME.....HE TOLD ME TO SHUT MY MOUTH OR HE WOULD HAVE IT SHUT FOR ME....I THEN TOLD HIM HE WAS BEING RECORDED MAKING TERRORISTIC THREATS AND AM FILING SUIT WITH ATTORNEY GENERAL....HE QUICKLY HUNG UP....IM AM IN PROCESS OF FILING WITH ATTORNEY GENERAL AND ALSO FILING CRIMINAL CHARGES FOR MAKING THREATS OVER THE PHONE.....THESE PEOPLE ARE TOTAL SCUM AND SHOULD BE LOCKED UP AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE

NO ONE can arrest you for a debt. Threats and harrassment are against the law by collection agencies. They do this to make you scared and possibly pay money you do not even owe. These slimeball weasels have called me before and the first time, I was in a panic over it. I went to another website and found out that none of what these people tell willhappen. DO NOT do business with anyone who calls and make threats like this. If you do have a debt, a reputable company will work with you. ALWAYS ask for proof of a debt in writing. BE CAREFUL! There are slimy agencies that buy (really) old debts that are past the statue of limitation and try to get you to pay that debt. DO NOT acknowledge a debt over the phone or it can posiibly re-age the debt and then you will be responsible.
If you tell these jerks you want proof of your debt in writing via the U.S. Postal Service I can guarantee you they will not call again. Its always good to say you are going to consult your attorney, too. I know, I've been there. Don't panic!

they call me last week how they know my address and my info?

got same call, got really upset then after some checking found out its a scam. i dont need the hassment and not sure if they called my place of employment yet but should i have my accounts changed?

Just received a call from this number and initially panicked until I decided to do some research. I coul hardly make out what he was saying on the voicemail message. How do we stop this?

I just got a call from this same number threatening me about some payday loan that wasn't paid...saying I owed from a long time ago but couldn't provide any info.  It was a Atty Michelle Brown or that was the name given and when I inquired about further info, she hung up.  I called the number back since she claimed I would be arrested at my job and she hung up on me again.  I am in the process of filing a complaint since this is indeed harassment.

They called me around the same time.  I'm not sure how they got my info but when they couldn't provide any additional info and proceeded to hang up on me I got suspicious.  Also, the so-called Atty kept saying LA county was coming to pick me up and when I told her I didn't work or reside in LA, she hung up.  I also could barely understand her and asked her to slow down but she just kept talking...this needs to stop!! I'm blocking their number from calling any number of mine. Good Luck!!
