THIS IS STILL GOING ON? Man I thought the feds put these Easterners in JAIL. I dont get this? this whole things was happening last year around the fall through to Feb of this year. Doesnt any one have better things to do with their unemployed time? than harrass people on the Phone?  DOGGONE IT

I reciced two calls from a man named Chris Jones. Telling me I need to call him back or bad things will happen to me. Its a scam I figured it out.

I have been trying to call this number and I keep getting busy signals and I dont understand what is going on.People has been calling me and threating me and trying to take money out of my account and Ididnt sign anything for them to take money or send me money.And I want this to be stopped.Thank You.

Just got a call from this number.  The man could barely speak English.  He seemed to back peddle a bit when I informed him that, as an American citizen, I have the right to know who is filing a case against me and why.   When I refused to give him any information the man said, "Well that up to you."

Just received a phone call from this number. The guy said he was Chris Jones and that I was being sued for 1000 dollars, and saying that they are going to report the law suit to my employers if I don't give them my credit card number for a down payment of 750 dollars. This Chris Jones I could hardly understand. He said that if I don't give my credit card number to him now I will be sorry. I knew this was a scam, but they keep calling. How do I get them from calling

These people called my work, and claimed I was part of some court litigation, and that I needed to call this number to stop my arrest.
When I called this number several times thru out the day, all I received is a busy signal.

Just had 2 missed calls and 2 voicemail messages from this guy.  Can't understand his first name, but last name is Jackson.  He told me that either I or my attorney need to call him back as soon as I receive the message and that it was time sensitive.  He went on for a bit, but I couldn't understand most of what he said.  At the end he said "Don't disregard this message, do return this call now.  If you don't return this call and I don't hear from your attorney either, the only thing I can do is wish you good luck."  That, my friend, is a direct threat and I saved the message.  That should be enough for at least a restraining order so they stop calling me.  Now, who do I contact with this information?

I have been looking into this problem for 6 months and that is how they get your info!

They call almost every day at my work and on my cell. They tell me that if I do not return their calls or have my attorney return there calls something will unfold on me. It scares me because they call so often and it sounds like a threat.

TEXT THE NUMBER!!!!!! I just let them know that I have contacted the FBI and the state attorneys office and they have put a trap on my phone. I also told them that I hope to see them on the new in handcuffs soon and to not call me at work or on my cell anymore.

This guy call me with this number 707-508-4204 and 760-269-4176. Don't answer the phone! It's SCAM! If you do answering them, tell them that you're gonna report and forward the call to FBI. Then the FBI will check the number for you. Dont be afraid for them, let them be afraid of you. They're all LIAR.

I got the same call so I called my local police department I am tired of threating and harassing calls hope they catch them it is bunch of scams...They say I owe money they tell me I be arrested when you call back I got a hello they won't tell me what law firm there calling me from and I am just sick with there games Good Luck Everyone

I just called my local police department you all may have to do the same I also texted them back let them know what I did as will for it's fraud it's scam and all they want is your money and no arrests they say or true

Don't panic don't worry be happy they will not come and arrest you there just a headache lol

Dont do anything.  You dont have to. They are a fraud and cannot anything at all.  Do not even talk to them.  If you do let them talk and tell them you have recorded the entire conversation and see how fast they hang up.  They wont call again after that.  It happened to me and thats what i did.  Havent heard from them again.

He says that he is Percy Jackson and I should have my attorney contact him.  He is Indian speaking and continuously pauses during the message,  I hang up on them, reject their calls, and have notiifed the FTC.  I just ignore them and won't even speak to them.

I got a call on June 1st, literally just this month. They knew what my employment was, they knew my phone number and they knew where I lived. They said (the woman who spoke to me) they were from a law firm, but was very rude. They said I owed a pay day loan I never took out. Saying that Someone put money into my non-existent bank account, and that they had already filed a law suit. They said I owed 7000 dollars and if I didn't send in 998 of it. I would be arrested within half an hour. Of course when I asked to talk to a boss because I was disputing it and couldn't understand a word they said. They told me that no one else was there only her. I of course went to the police and started asking questions, and they said to report the number because it was a fraud/scam sounding. The police also said the only way they could have done anything was if I HAD sent them money, otherwise to ignore them because there isn't no legal action they can honestly take. Besides it would take more money and a lot of proof against them to even begin to bring a lawsuit against them.

Thanks for the excellent and accurate advice. I just got a message from this number and all it does is give me a busy signal. That is correct, it is illegal to make such threats. Worst case scenario is wage garnishment, which is a lengthy process and you would definetly get postal mail on, sometimes even certified mail. Be smart and stay protected; when you don't know, question everything!
