This number called me 5 times within a 30 minute period and once I dont them I knew it was a scam and I looked up there number on the internet. He hung up so fast. Hopefully that will stop those scumbags.

This number has been constantly phoning my work phone. Extremely annoying. How do you get rid of these scammers?

Stop these CALLS

When I answer, there is a pause, then I hear people talking in the background and someone with an accent says they're from my local yellow pages.  They called FOUR TIMES the other day.  They call almost every day and I'm tired of it.  I can't understand what you're saying, mail me a questionnaire.

I received a phone call from this 760-526-8572 saying that he needed to verify my company yellowpages info. When I asked him fro his information He gave me a 1-800- number and supposely his name Jeff Anderson. When I called the 800 number it doesn't exist (800-828-1899). I am wondering what are they trying to do with this.

SCAM ARTIST!  He claimed to be representing AT&T Yellow Pages and tried to state that we were getting a $150 charge for being listed unless we provided information so that they could 'discard the listing'.   Do NOT give this guy information!

Everyone - when you get these calls from (760)526-8572 - don't give them any information (they are scammers), and when they hang up, stay on the line until it REALLY disconnects, and you get a dial tone. Be patient; it may take two or three minutes. THEN - dial *57 - this initiates a trace (and costs you $1.00), and the phone company's recorded message says that if this happens three times, you can call the toll-free number and initiate legal proceedings against this telemarketer for HARRASSING PHONE CALLS (which these certainly are). Pass the word. For a total of $3.00, you can finally send some pain back to them in the form of legal action against them from the phone company.

Will not stop calling an idiot

these guys call everyday stating that they are from yellowpages and needs to update our company profile.
im hanging up everytime they call i d like to know if there s a way to block them cause it s becoming boring.

All this information is good -- but does anyone know how to stop the calls -- we get SEVERAL every day!

They call to our office 3 or 5 times a day....this is getting really serious and will contact the FTC

Receive calls and have asked them to stop calling.  Now when they call they wait to see if it is me that answers and hangs up when they hear my voice.  They are tying up our business lines and I would like these calls stopped.

Oops!  The business named above is OUR business name....the call on ID says NO4.

YEAH, ITS A SCAM. HE KEEPS CALLING OUR BUSINESS TOO.

THIS PHONE NUMBER CALLED WANTING TO VERIFY THE NUMBER TO THE PROPERTY A WORK FOR. I SAID ALL THE INFORMATION WAS CORRECT BUT THEN HE STARTED ASKING FOR MY BIRTHDAY AND MY NAME .. TOO MUCH INFO BASICALLY. IT WAS A MAN WITH MIDDLE EASTERN ACCENT SO BEWARE. THEY KEPT TALKING  ABOUT SOME SPECIAL OFFER FOR $39 A MONTH FOR A WEBSITE IF WE'D BE INTERESTED TO JUST RESPOND TO THE LETTER THEY WERE GOING TO SEND US.  I WAS VERY SKEPTICAL SO I HUNG UP AND THEY JUST KEEP CALLING. I FINALLY ANSWERED AND THEY STILL WERE TRYING TO VERIFY THE INFO.

I GOOGLED IT AND I FIGURED OF COURSE IT WAS A SCAM.

IF YOU DO GET GOT...LOL.. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS CALL YOUR TELEPHONE PROVIDER TO WHICH THEY REACHED YOU AT AND TELL THEM TO PUT A THIRD PARTY BLOCK ON YOUR ACCOUNT.

I received 6 calles within one hour yesterday and no one says anything.  Thanks to all of you I now know what it may be about.  Thanks for the warning

They will tell you it is to "update your free information allready posted".  If you even confirm your company name or phone number you have just "authorized" them.  They will tell you that "yes you can confirm the information even as a receptioninst with no authority, its free".  Your company will then be billed by your local phone company for additional charges that were authorized by one of your employees.  This type of fraud is part of an investigation under the Federal Trade Commission.

this no4 760 526 8572 caller doesn't give a crap how many times i tell them to stop calling this # they just keep right on calling

have a cramming block put on your phone for this, The charges wont be accepted by your phone company, I had this happen several years ago and the phone company removed the charge and put the block in place.

I have gotten numerous calls from this number. On caller ID it says "NO4"

I answer and there is a hang up.  Never spoke to anyone.
