We've been getting calls from this number at work. I called it back and it said press one to be placed on the do not call list... so that's what we did. Fairly easy.

The number comes up  SPAM 05 25 10 ... how weird is that.. Like I would answer that ..lol

He called our tanning salon and they would not let me get off the phone, even after I said I would feel more comfortable having the owner do this. At first they asked simple questions, like is ******* your salon's phone number, is ********* the address, to update our yellow pages listing. Seemed somewhat normal. He asked for my first name and position, fine, but why would they need my last name? I gave them a fake one because I didn't trust it. They put me through to some automated recording that asked me if I had the authorization of the owner to make charges, he said to say yes, but of course I said no! He started getting angry and putting the recording on over and over, telling me that everyone knows that I don't have the authorization to make charges, "obviously," but to say yes anyways. I hung up at that point. Obviously a scam.

We have been harassed all afternoon by the person at this #, sounds east indian, there was 2 different people that I spoke to.  One man says his name is Jack the other says he is Jay Anderson and when asked for his information he gave me all false info.  He says he is with the yellow pages and needs to update our free listing.  Then I said are you with Dex?  He answered yes.  So I started to update our info. and then when you get to the last question you are giving permission to set up a "free" website, which he assured me they were not setting up.  So I hung up and they badgered me all afternoon, called at least 20 times.  Verified both with Dex and Qwest (he said he was with Qwest when my co-worker picked up), this was not legitimate.  He said that I (receptionist) would be listed as the owner in the yellow pages and would get a $60 charge on our phone bill.  He didn't call back

Someone with an Indian accents say they are from Qwest Yellow Pages.  They said wanted me to verify info for a free business listing.  Then things got sketchy - the guy played recorded questions & wanted me to answer (my answers were being recorded).  The questions on the recording were not the same as what the guy was explaining I was answering.  When I asked him to explain why this was he kept pushing me to go through all the questions, saying I would not be billed for anything, etc.  I finally hung up on him.  He called back 5 times within an hour ( I didn't answer).  SO ANNOYING!

Funny stuff...it even said SPAM 05 25 10 on my caller ID when it called...lol. It's only called once, but I put the number on call blocker so they might as well give up.

This guy swore up and down that he was from Fairpoint and it was not a sales call.  They were just verifying our free white page listing.  The caller ID said SPAM 05 25 10 which I questioned and he laughed and assured he was calling from Fairpoint.  They needed a month and day of birth to verify an employee was contacted then switched me to a supervisor who AGAIN swore he was from Fairpoint and was not selling anything.  The supervisor was supposed to be on the line to put us on the do not call again list.  He hung up on me quickly when he mentioned a website and I told him I was not interested.  I turned this in to the fraud alert at Fairpoint.  I wish I had seen this site before I wasted my time.

Also getting calls every 10 to 15 mins.  Shows as  SPAM.  
First call was Indian accent, wanting to verify Yellow Pages listings. Got put through to 2nd person then a recording.  Hung  up.  8/16/2010

Got a call from this company but did not answer. Caller ID said:  Spam 05 25 10
Who would want to answer a call like that?

Call the number back.  They give you the option of adding your number to the do not call list.

I just talked to the same guy at this number (caller ID) and he said my free ad for the business was with QWest.  He also wanted my birth date, month and year and I told him no.  I kept asking if he was with Dex Media.  I don't advertise anywhere w/QWest.  Don't trust anyone any more.  Very sad situation.  Bast_ _ _ _ !

We got back to back calls with no one on the other line. Our caller ID listed it as "Spam 05 25 10" That sent off warning signals in my mind.

verify phone number and company information. Calls come in to the office several times per week.  This is an ongoing problem, I have ask them to take me off the caller list, they refuse to answer questions other then I have to reply.  If you get strick with your message not to call back again they are very rude and use bad language.

They come up on our caller ID as SPAM.  I got really nasty with them and said that less than 30 minutes ago, I had heard my assistant telling them to take us off their list.  He hung up on me.  I don't understand!   LOL

They called our store and hung up when asked fore their number. 5 Minutes later, they called back and told the employee it was ok as the owner gave them permission to update the information. This so said and fraudulent, so where is the FCC and FBI when you need them? I called the number back, and hit 1 for get us off the do not call list. I am still dealing with the last scammer problem from a contractor who answered the phone.

Keeps calling. Report them on the FCC website if they keep calling you.

My place of employment receives multiple calls a day from this number.  As soon as I finish my standard greeting, the call is ended.  So annoying!
