I just got called at like 3:40 am, but they said nothing....

Just rec'd this call and missed it. There are 165 pages w/100+ entries per page with people bickering to each other. Below it states this MAY be a google number where someone hasn't chosen a number, default. I came here because I rec'd a txt from a Cali number one day ago (I also posted on this site 805-633-8646. It was a scam: Brooks, single, and put up a site httpMobileSafeStreamsDOTcom/?invite=4435285458) Some say this# could be a friend, however, many disagree as do I a friend of mine would have left a v/m. I think this could be another way scams could be working. A few say a man calls and says nothing, could be named Bradley! I have used google voice for years, unaware I a was able to make calls w/the number so may be somewhat new, not sure. Use your judgement.

Someone keeps calling my place of employment using the 760-705-8888 number. Using the companies priority voice mail system, this person is putting filthy messages about several persons within the company. We have spoken to our IT department and were told this is complicated to address. Nor sure if this is indeed true or our IT department is just to busy to tackle. In the meantime, innocent people are being bullied and lied about through a voice mail that goes out company wide.
Does anyone have any information on how to stop this type of menacing?

I received a call on my cell and a guy knew my full name when i answered. He says that he was from a recovery agancy, he was saying that I've took some gas on credit!!! He only spokes English, I told him that I wanted someone who speaks My language and replied by saying that he's'going to do some research to have someone calling us back... 1st there is no way that I owe money anywhere!!!! 2nd I'm waiting for their reply!

Hello I got a call from this number twice and both times they said nothing pretty annoying I have a feeling who this is cause I know of someone that is on vacation right now or so I have heard and I use to date them and this person would call sometimes not using this number but the real number and not say anything apperantly this is a google number... weird

Idiot called from 760-705-8888.  Woke me at 7:02a Saturday 4, 2014.  Idiot did not make a sound when I answered.
I hope they get NO sleep for a week, if human.  If robot, I hope it crashes.

I have a friend that calls me from a google voice number but when I try and call the number I get a busy signal. How do I make calls to them?

I have got calls from this number and he sweared at us immensely. He sounded Pakistani and he calls us everyday atleast 4 times and sometimes even more. I really want this person to get arrested and be in jail for 8 months and apologise to us

Why hasn't anyone been able to sue google over this?! This is an era of anti-bullying anti-terrorism right? Someone fix it and stop it already! Three years of one number harassing thousands of people. WTF GOOGLE!!!???

i am tired of receiving scams about our internet from these callers trying to get personal information from me..when i tell them i am sitting in front of my computer they will tell you to check something on your computer which i have NEVER AND NEVER WILL...i want to report them to the authorities before some innocent unsuspecting person falls for this!!

Received a call from this number saying he was my grandson and he was in trouble in Mexico asking for $1200 clearly a scam

I hung up after answering the call as the caller said nothing.  The caller's no. Is 760-674-4390 from CA.

I received a call from this number about 4PM. today. didn't answer it though because I didn't recognize the caller.
I won't answer calls from people I don't know. so, It won't do them any good to call back. I am on the nocall.gov. list, but, a lot of good it does. I still get unwanted and annoying calls. The caller ID says Maura Collins and list this number 760-705-8888. don't answer these calls. They are bogus.

Ok Google will get right on it and remove your number. Dumb son of a [***] how the hell do you think they can remove your number? Do you really think there is someone reading and deleting numbers by request. And one more thing how the hell do they know your number to remove????!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That call is through GOOGLE voice Service. It is not a sales or scary call...

I disagree with this comment 100%. We received a call from this number and have no idea where 760 area code I do not use gmail nor was it my cell. it was our home land line and was before 6 AM when normally, unless some jerk calls, no one is up yet. My wife could here people talking in the background but no one answered. If it is someone that knows us why would they not say anything. I think it is time to mail google and see what they can do if it is there number they should be able to track the usage or contact whomever it is registered too.
