Definitely has to be a prank. just got a call from someone call me a C**T  before hanging up.....lovely....

They said they wanted to sell me drugs and I told them to leave me alone then they kept calling me while I was trying to sleep I told them I was going to have them tracked by the police then they quit calling me

I use this google feature and wear a headset to make outgoing calls, legitimate ones. I am a bit hearing impaired and cannot hear well on my cell phone so I use a headphone set.  People leave me messages on my pay per minute cell phone and I call back. I used it today to call myself because I was not sure my computer settings were correct. I promptly forgot and just saw the number on my cell phone and got here, feeling silly for forgetting. Now I know what my number looks like to people I call! I guess losers could use it to be jerks but it has been so helpful for me, saved me money and allows me to hear calls. Sorry some people ruin good things.

At 2:00am I received  a call from this number!  The person said nothing, after hanging up the same same number called my Father's phone number doing the same act as I got!  I have a strong feeling as to who is making these calls from their computer!  Their names are Joe Bova and Jason Bova!  I would also like to know if there is any way to BLOCK 760-705-8888!

TRYING to BLOCK people calling my HOME PHONE NUMBER using GOOGLE VOICE!  I have a good idea WHO is doing this with calls calling me at 2:00 IN THE MORNING!

If could please notify them reminding them of their usage contract they made with you upon acquiring their accounts and to STOP making PRANK CALLS to my number and my Father's as well!  

If you can place a call block on our phones so we will not get future calls PLEASE do so with the following numbers I have furnished!

If these harassing calls continue I will be contacting my local police department reporting these calls.  Reporting this may or may not involve GOOGLE but will be mentioned in my police report if I or my Father continue to get calls from GOOGLE VOICE.

Keep getting calls from these people regards a  diabetic meter for my son which I never requested one and no one is Diabetic and gives me his name as on Gorge Williams and the most crazy one Steve Martin Really some one with that name and has a hard accent when he speaks.

After reading some of the beginning comments I agree it's quite possible that the person that called already had my number. I only gave it out to a few.  The first person I thought of was my brother. I called him and asked if he was trying to reach me and he said yes.  He said it was through google voice he was calling.  From what I understand this is just a "generic number" used for anyone that calls through google voice unless they request their own unique google phone number.  I chastised him and told him to go get a unique google number so I know it's him calling nextime. LOL.. Anyway, so if you get a call I would start questioning who has your number first.  But it's also entirely possible this generic google voice number could be being used by a spam artists and crooks.  It wasn't in my case.  Just wanted to add my thoughts.

I want the stupid calls to stop. I do not give out my number, never had and would really like this to end.

It called at 2:00am a couple days ago on our landline and my cell. Called again today and just heard breathing then it called again five minutes later and the "siri" voice said "You are an ugly fat [***].....Fat [***]" then hung up.
Looked it up...Escondido, CA landline.
P.S. sorry if the language offends you...only telling what it said.

Two brief phone calls this morning; I thought it was my grandson, caller ID said "google guy" and I figured that was his new handle, so i said, "So, you landed safely?"  He said, 'Yes, who told you?"  I said, "Your father" and he hung up.  (OK, wrong number, NOT my grandson. )

A while later another call, same guy, and I said, "Who's this?"  He said, "Your nephew."  Uh huh!  Don't have a nephew, scam!  THEN HE ASKED IF I WAS (he gave my legal name which I rarely use) - now, THAT was scary!  WTF?  static, and the line broke up, and I blocked future calls from that number.

Here's the thing: People scam, try to get money out of you saying they are in jail/Mexico/car broke down, etc. - and say they're your grandkids/nephew/etc.  I don't give out my info on the phone, but was really upset when he addressed me by name.  

Whoever this is called and left a messageon my husbands phone saying he wanted to [***] my children.

caller left voicemail with his email and mobile, saying he is Patrick from www.sgcequipment.com and he has solar equipment from usa for sale, patrick@sgcequipment.com  Checked this website and i think pranksters n all others have been using some cheap voip call cards/account to make calls.

This is the second time in as many days that I've received a call from a young male whose opening line is, "Hi, Grandma!"  Since I don't have grandchildren, it's an obvious scam, and I simply hang up.  But I worry about all the grandparents out there who may be victimized by this ruse.  

Scammer. My elderly mom accidentally asked "is this ________" and he responded YES, then gave a sob story about being trapped in Mexico with a trunk full of blow and could we send $$$ for the Federales. Got cut off or hung up.

Then he called BACK and I answered, said he was _______.

"So ________, what's your last name?"

"Uh, ************ (my surname).

NOPE. CLICK. SCAM.
