This is a pretty simple thing...if you don't know who it is calling and don't want any more calls from this number then call your phone provider and BLOCK the number from use.

this solicitor has called my house 32 times in 1 day! beven heard my children in the background and started to ask questions about them!

Can you call back and talk to them? Who's voice are we listening to? Is it our "personal friends"? or someone hired by google and gmail to read a message.

same deal happened to me....with fraud check in all....wonder if we cant compare details

Bravo!!!  I think I received a call from the same guy.  He basically told me the same thing about my computer sending out spam.... etc.  I told him I would have my school look after it since they own the computer...  He didn't know what to say and hung up.  I love this web site.

This number and the people at this number call our business every night. I have told them to stop, but they do not listen. When I ask for a supervisor, they hang up . If Google is behind this system they need to make some changes.

these folks are very abusive and really harrass you on daily basis

I got a phone call from this number 760-705-888 at 12:46am May 10th someone that knew me -called me by name and said that thet was going to beat me up.
How can I find out who this is?

They called at 9 pm said they were the Health Department and we were serving bad food at our restaurant.   I play the SOB for the fool he was and let him go on for 10minutes before I told him to [***] off!    It some text message scam. Where they try and access your accounts.

I RECEIVED A CALL ON MY HOUSE PHONE SHORTLY AFTER SIX IN THE MORNING FROM 760-705-8888 with no awnser.  Please do not call this number again.

760-705-8888 is one  many Google phone source numbers. People can call any where in the USA for free. It is a bona fide free internet service available from gmail.com. Unfornately, there are those folks in the cyber world who are just plain nasty and decide to use this service for prank calls.

I use the service to make legitimate calls to friends and businesses since my cell phone is metered. Gphone allows me to make those calls free and not incur the huge per minute costs imposed by the cell provider.

This number has come up twice in the last 20 minutes as "Brent Edwards" and "760-705-8888".  The second time, they hung up after one ring.

I have been getting multiple calls daily from multiple numbers that come back to trade journal publications.  Since I let my free subscriptions expire, they have pursued me relentlessly.  I wonder if this is them, or if they have maliciously passed on my business number to spammers.  Either way, I don't answer.

Received a profane and vulgar call from 760-705-8888 on May 23, 2011. It was an automated voice. I called the number back, but they will not receive my call. The long distance operator also had the same trouble.

This number calls Cell and home within minutes of each other about every hour.  No message, no answer when called.

I just blocked the number. Thank you phone for the 'Block list' option. :D

well i just received a phone call from this number and the person on the phone was east indian, saying they were from ontario hydro and saying i have a problem with my hydro, meanwhile my hydro is included in my rent. and when i told this person on the phone that, they sounded like they were unsure of what to do next and hung up on me. so definitely not someone i know. and i wish they will not call again.

an east indian man called me from this number and he was telling me that there was something wrong with my hydro, meanwhile my hydro is included in my rent, and i told the man that and he sounded unsure and mumbled have a good day and then hung up. im really annoyed with all these kinds of phone calls. please make them stop.
