At around 3:12 a.m. on July 21, 2011 someone called my number twice.
I do not know the name of the company.

first, he was trying to get access of my computer. next day, he's been calling the phone many times. how do i report him and block him?

(760) 705-8888 registers on Caller ID as California Call.  It's actually a person calling from a computer using Gmail.  There's an option on your Gmail account that says "call phone".  So it could be from anywhere and anyone doing it.  Hope this helps someone :)

This number just called my house, I always check on here when I get an odd number calling, rang twice, hung up.  Toronto, Ontario, 8:25PM (I have to be at work at 4am I'm trying to sleep!)

Person calling is harrasing and making repeated phone calls.

This number called my boyfriend's cell 3 seperate times last night between 11:30pm and 1:00 am. The first time a message was left on his voicemail...no voice, just breathing. At about 1:15 am, this number called my cell...no message. Very strange and very creepy....

In the last 35 minutes, the phone number of 760-705-8888 has called me over 20 times. i dotn use gmail, I do use Skyp and when I answer they dont say a word, this last time I screamed at the top of my lungs (Stop Calling Me before I Block you abd report you).  I know the person at the other end has hearing problems now.  I wnt these calls stopped, what can I do?

This generic Google voice number was used by a Middle-Eastern man today to harass my company.  The caller made a death threat on 'the manager' but could not provide his name.  This became a big deal, causing police to get involved while I kept him on the phone for 15 minutes trying to get 'information'.  He told an elaborate story of 'the manager' wrecking his car in a hit & run last night.

I recieved a phone call at 12:02 a.m. from this number on July 22, 2011.  It this is some business they need to be checking time zones before calling.

Called had Indian accent, said he was with Ontario Energy Board, went on spiel and wouldn't stop talking to listen to me, even when I asked. Told him I was on no call list he said it didn't matter as he was calling to book appointment, not sell. I said it was "No Call" not "No Sell" and he kept talking, so I asked if he was stupid. He said I was stupid, so I hung up.

My husband just called me from his cell phone.............we have Applachian Wireless..........the phone number on the I.D. was 760-705-888 and not our cell number.  Why?

Got a call from this number this morning. Various scams and harrassments are being run off this Google number. I don't much give a [***] who they are or what they want - I don't know the number and willl not answer them - just gave them a keypunch code that says they don't have a real phone number (i.e. not assigned to anyone). With luck they are not such cretins that they will be able to figure this code out and won't call back.
P.S. can't believe that anyone would seriously think that some unknown person could see into their computer and find viruses!! LOL - how do these vermin even come up with this drivel?

I had this number phone my place of employment and after reading all of your posts is the one thing I couldnt't find is that they already knew your name.  He left message on my work general mailbox telling me he was from the city of edmonton police and that I needed to contact him ASAP.  Now I understand that this must be a hoax but what really concerns me is how they tied my first name to this.  Anybody have any ideas???  and just for the record my real name isnt whats posted Im just really freaked out now

I received a call on my cell at 3:45 a.m. from 760-705-8888. It was a disguised voice, the person told me it was my neighbor and that they had a secret to tell me. When I asked what the secret was they told me they had received a pair of binoculars from their grandfather and had been watching me...I said that is lovely and hung up. I didn't know what else to do. I know the number is google voice and this is as far as I can take it, no way to find out where the call came from? I checked on my kids, but I can't sleep now. What kind of person does that to another? I think there should be a way to be able to find out what IP address the call came from. I know it was a prank but I am terrified now.

I forgot to mention that the caller knew my name. All the more reason to be freaked out for me.

I use 7607058888 to return a phone call to check who was calling my cellphone. I have never misused 7607058888. That's the beauty of it. I, personally, don't do stupid things like some people does. However, some of my friends handed my phone number to other people. So, the next time I will do is to post their phone numbers if they don't stop harassing me with different numbers. On the other hand, I learn how to block people on my mobile phone. Whoever did it, I don't care. I filtered my callers. Important callers can call me anytime.
