- DianeThis is United Health Care. I answered and they were calling to verify a new prescription called in by my doctor to OptimaRX (mail order pharmacy associated with Blue Cross). Any time my doctor calls in a new prescription they call me to verify. it is legitimate.

- No B.S. replies to Irritated with UHCWay to take a stand and not put up with BS from people/companies, legit or not, who like to abuse our phone system. Any time an unsolicited caller will not identify themselves, its telecommunications abuse.
- HoratioThey left no message and hung up. If this IS United Healthcare, I now have a very, VERY low opinion of their operation.
- Kristi GUnited HealthCare Specialty Medications (a.k.a. OPTUM) is who called me from this number. Have gotten many calls from this number. At first is an automated message reminding it was time to refill medications. From there you say either "YES", you can speak with an agent now to get that done, or "NO" that you will take care of at a later time. If you opt to take care of later the automated message gives you the closing formality of call (please don't forget as your meds need to be refilled, have a great day, etc) and provides the customer support number, which is different from the one the call came from. (Which is why if you call it back no one will answer.)

- BertaThese people are calling once a day. I understand, from my research, that they're calling for AARP UnitedHealthcare. I've asked them to take me off their mailing list, and now they're calling my residence. I let them know via Facebook, that I am continuing to get calls from them. This is REALLY annoying.

- VirginiaI don't have UnitedHealthcare. The only connection I have with them is the junk mail they send to my house. I've asked them to stop the mailings and the phone calls. So far, no response. When I get old enough to need AARP UnitedHealthcare, I will NOT be calling them for coverage, that's for sure. The Caller ID is OPTUM. Doesn't even sound like UnitedHealthcare. Grrr...

- Cpht replies to UHC RN| 1 replyYes! I work in optum...uhc insurance and get these calls too. Hope it was this program and not briova about my rx
- BigA replies to CphtSo you are saying that United Healthcare hires illiterate people to work for them? Does not instill confidence in the quality of their services.
- JThey called and said they were Briova pharmacy to refill my prescription, but I just had a refill. They wanted me to verify information. It was not the normal number from Briova that calls me, person on the other end didn't speak English very well so I hung up, did not trust it was actually the Pharmacy
- Caller: Briova

- AlyseThe call was from Briova Specialty Pharmacy to authorize shipment of Prolia to my doctor's office and to collect the co-pay so that the order could be completed. A nurse at my doctor's office confirmed the legitimacy of the call and the message that was left for me. A toll-free number was provided in the message for my return call to the pharmacy. That toll-free number is 1-855-427-4682.

- anonymousanswered the phone and they claimed to be from UHC. asking me to verify date of birth etc. looked fishy. Told them that I will call UHC directly.
