Yes, I guess the call is a legit call,  but it is too bad they can't leave a message that a person could understand.  Their call back number if not the same as the number they are calling from.  The way she mumbled the call back number is unexcusable.

I just received a call from a party from "Briova Speciality Pharmacy", I confirmed they process specialty meds for Optum Rx (UHC).  She knew my name, but immediately asked me for my date of birth and address to confirm an "Rx order",  I do subscribe to UHC and do have mail orders filled thru Optum Rx.
While the whole call seemed suspicious, it was legitimate, though lacking in security on their end; she would not tell me my referring physician's name or office, citing HIPAA.   I called the number back, it dropped.

I then received a call from my Dr office and they said they had just been contacted by Briova saying my specialized medication was not being processed until I confirmed its need with Briova.

Long story short, I called Briova back thru my Dr's office and got the process authorized. What a struggle. I asked Briova to make their calls more clear. HIPAA does not disallow them from validating certain information, but to cold call a patient/me and just ask personal information is a sloppy way at best to conduct business. Call type was classified as an event reminder, though that's not really accurate. I was a legitimate Rx authorization from a subsidiary pharmacy who was unknown though legit to me...

This number left a message saying it was uhc and to call back 866-793-9371 ext 66367. I looked up both numbers and neither are directly associated with United health care insurance. I called the number on the back of my insurance card and they said these numbers are not associated with them. It must be a scam

Valid call from BriovaRx/United Healthcare. I missed the call and they left a message. I called the 800 number on the back of my card to confirm and they needed to verify my date of birth in order to have a prescription sent to my doctors office. If you're under a doctor's care, you may want to call them back or at least call your doctor.

The caller number bellow is a fraud number, left no message, please investigate.  Thank you for your time.

Not quite sure why people think this is a scam number. I've been dealing with UHC for a week now and this is the number for one of the calls I got from a rep. ITS A LEGIT NUMBER PEOPLE

I just got a call from this number and it was Optum RX. It was a valid call.

The male said he was from AARP.  Pitching a phony prescription discount card.  Discontinued call after he asked me to confirm my address.  Scammer!!

Really?  It's still a nuisance call.  You thing they're calling because they like you?  Or maybe this person is working on a Boy Scout merit badge for Good Deeds.  They have an agenda – they're making money somehow with these calls.  Get real.

So?  It's still a solicitation, and from the above comments, not all are already with their organization, so it's probably illegal if it's a robo call.  And since there are some other comments about other things than healthcare, I'd guess it's a legit number being spoofed at some point, yet also making solicitation calls.  Thus endeth the lecture.

They called three times in a row - a minute apart! My phone display said Minneapolis, MN. I don't answer any call where I don't recognize the number and they left no message. If a message isn't left, I know it is a scam, telemarketer or isn't important!

United Heathcare returning my call regarding a pending medical insurance claim.

I have United Health Care insurance, this was the specialty pharmacy calling in regards to a recently prior approved authorization for a prescription. He left a voicemail with a call back number, it was legit. The caller ID # is just the main switchboard #.

These people do not seem to get the message. They keep calling and getting through to my voice mail even though I have the number blocked, I even added another number that showed up (0117632743899) with no luck!  I'm not even sure how this is happening!!

The ID comes up as United Health Care, they leave a voice mail for someone that does not live here, claiming they are from Keystone Heath or E Scripts(?) and wish to "discuss medication management."

They've called repeatedly, It might be UHC trying to talk to me about how to "save money," but, I wouldn't know. When this number called today, I answered and said, hello. No answer. I usually hang up, but, this time I decided to wait. I put the call on mute so they can't hear my end, they've literally been on hold and haven't hung up for over 5 minutes. Really? If it is UHC, maybe I could save money if your employees weren't sitting on indefinite hold and doing their damn jobs.
