Receiving calls from (763) 392-5981.  I simply allow my answering machine to pick up the line.  They never leave a message.  Hence, I doubt their legitimacy.  A respectable organization would leave some sort of message; automated or human.

Also, I do not use DO NOT CALL lists.  In my opinion, it is a way of collecting unlisted phone numbers.  Use the motto of the intelligence community when providing personal data -- "NEED TO KNOW".

I answered the phone this time and a gentlemen answered the phone.  He informed me that SFI is Strategic Fundraising Inc, a non-profit organization.  At my request, the operator placed me on their DNC and informed me I would receive no more calls.

Even if you are on the do not call list (we are) you can still get calls from "nonprofit" organizations or political organizations.  that is why this number is allegedly able to get through.  We got the call on my KIDS CELL PHONE!  Annoying!

These [***] finally talked to me on SUNDAY A 2PM!!!! It was a John McCain FUNDRAISER!!!! I said I will never vote for that SOB NOW!!!!

this company keeps calling three and four times a day

This annoying company just called for the 3rd time today, it is 8:45pm in CT and my baby was just about to fall asleep.  I just talked to someone at 715-831-8300 who "said" they put me on their "do not call" list.  We'll see.

I get these calls almost every day from this number. When I try and answer the call their phone goes dead, therefore I assume it is a computer generated or dialing machine call.
Enough is enough!

I just got my first call from "STRATEGIC".  No message was left.  I called them out of curiosity and was able to enter the necessary information to get me off of their active list.  They stated that it would take up to 48 hours and that I could get more calls from them in the meantime.  For once it was nice to communicate with a machine!  No bickering or anything, I like that!  Now, if this really works I will be one happy camper.

Typical boiler room call.  Nobody there, you say 'hello' a few times, somebody finally comes on the line, and tries to hit you up for money for McCain.  At 8:30 in the morning.  I told her just just cost him a vote and hung up.

im really tired of being harrased by 1-763-392-5981 phone calls, several a day starting at 8am, and no one there.
I will NEVER give money again to the Republican Party. They constatntly call me and will not take no for an answer.  I have to hang up on them and they are rude and clog up my snail mail box. The above number is no doubt a political solicitaion from them.

Calls keep coming from this number, but no on is on the line.

Thanks a billion for this information.  These calls seem to come in cycles....quiet for awhile and then a week of harrassment.  Does anyone really respond positively to this kind of "marketing"???

I don't pick up...but have caller ID. This number keeps showing up and no message is ever left on my answer machine.
