I had to call Verizon earlier about a modem problem. Now this number is calling my cell phone. I ignored it as I do any unknown numbers.

This was a verizon support manage following up on my fios battery problem.
I'm glad he called. ..got the problem fixed.

Verizon FiOS support, called to follow up on IHA chat.

Got a call from them at our restaurant asking what kind of food we serve, if we were dine in or take out, and the address. Didn't give them correct info and asked who they were and why they were calling and they just hung up.

I've been having slow internet service also. I've also have been losing my connection. I have DSL.

I called to chat also but it took about 10 minutes for him the rep to ask for my address?? I closed out the chat

you did the right think who knows who that is a hacker and a scammer!!!

I hope that is the case if it does not say Verizon on my phone I don't answer numbers that I don't know and if it was they should leave a message and a good contact number. The caller must be in India?? I still don't answer if I don't know who is calling

block it and put the app you mail on your phone and you will know who is calling your phone

True caller is good app to know who is calling also and you can block spam numbers also

Verizon tech support calling to follow up on a issue I was having with my DSL.

Interesting stuff.  I currently have an open service ticket with Verizon and wonder if these calls have anything to do with that.  I hate Verizon - service is usually OK but the minute there's a problem I practically need sedatives to keep myself from climbing through the phone and killing the person I'm talking to.

"They" did not respond to answering machine.

Earlier in the day I had a live chat with Verizon over a TV box that isn't working at our beach, which is in DE and we are in PA, they needed the s/n off of the box, told them I would try to have someone down there get it for me, they wanted a time to call me back, I said between 1:30 and 3:00 because I would be leaving for work they said ok. I managed to get the info, they never called, however, when I got home after 9:00 there were  2 missed calls from this number and ID was Satyam BPO Saty, one call was @ 3:39 and the other was at 4:19. Soooooo now in the morning I have to go thru all that BS again with live chat.  However, I probably would not have been able to understand him/her.  They did not leave a message. I would not have answered even if I was home because I don't answer when I don't know who is calling me, if it had said Verizon that would have been different.

This is Verizon's tech support.  They called me at 10:40 pm local time to see if our reported DSL problem was fixed.  Foreign accent female probably in India.

I was woken up at six this morning from this number saying it was Verizon calling. I told him I didn't care it's six in the morning and he started to laugh.
I only get one morning a week that I get to sleep in past five and I deal with this....

Called ID said: satyam Bp o saty

This number calls my home number, then my cell number repeatedly thru the day.  When I pick up they hang up.  No messages, caller ID of Satyam Bpo Saty.  

I do have an open complaint with Verizon due to phone support scheduling a technician to come to my home when I clearly stated several times that no one was to be sent.  A tenant of ours let the tech guy in after he lied and told them that we scheduled a service call. The tech may have been given that info but it was inaccurate. All the origional tech person would do was repeatedly read from a script and ignore my statements.  Whats hard to understand about "under no circumstances should you send a tech to my house" (the problem was confirmed on their end by the tech that did the install two days prior).  I sure hope the conversation was recorded because I am ready to take it further.   If I could use someone other than Verizon I would do it in a heartbeat.  

After an evening wirh Verizon cleaning up my Mcafee. I received a call from 850) 685 9004 & (770) 7790065 telling me to get on my computer immediately, that I have a virus! I asked him who he was he said a manager but didn't at from what company. I took his number & name told him I'll call Verizon then return his call. Verizon said it's a scam.

These irritating people called my house and cell phone tonight, Hate hate hate!!!!!!!
